About this opportunity

Your Role

As HR Business Partner for Healthcare Germany, you will act as a trusted strategic partner to business leadership, shaping and driving the people agenda in one of the most dynamic and regulated healthcare markets in the world. In this role, you translate business objectives into actionable HR strategies that are fully aligned with German labor law and co-determination requirements – ensuring both legal compliance and sustainable business performance.

You design and implement people initiatives across talent planning, development, rewards, and succession, with inclusion at the center. Leveraging people analytics, you generate insights that identify opportunities and risks, enabling proactive decision-making. You lead and support HR-driven business transformations, building trusted relationships with works council bodies and guiding managers through co-determination processes with confidence and clarity.

Operating within a matrix organization, you ensure seamless collaboration across Corporate HR, business leaders, Global Enterprise Solutions, and external partners. You actively drive HR efficiency by transitioning transactional activities to shared service models, while championing programs that foster inclusion, belonging, and employee engagement across the Healthcare organization in Germany.

Who You Are

You hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a business or HR-related field (Master’s degree preferred), ideally with exposure to the Healthcare industry.

You bring 5–7 years of experience navigating German co-determination requirements and works council engagement, including leading or supporting HR transformation initiatives.

You have a strong background as an HR Business Partner or in an HR consulting role; additional experience in talent management or total rewards is a plus.

You demonstrate sound business acumen combined with a hands-on approach, translating complex business needs into practical, compliant HR solutions.

You are skilled at managing competing priorities and stakeholder expectations in a complex, matrixed environment.

You have a proven track record of collaborating with senior business leaders to develop, implement, and monitor HR programs that drive measurable business outcomes.

You communicate fluently in both German and English, enabling effective engagement with local works council bodies and international stakeholders alike.

How this role compares

Computed from every other active Other / Corporate Functions role in our database, not just this employer's listings.

We don't have enough classified peer data for this role yet, so there's no comparison to show. This happens when a posting's title/category doesn't match any taxonomy rule -- it's excluded rather than compared against the wrong peer group.
