Department: Rare Disease
Location: Baroda (Vadodara), Gujarat, India
Your impact begins here
As Lead Key Account I/II , you will strengthen Novo’s presence in key hospital accounts across different parts of Gujarat for the Endocrine Disorder Team. You will turn account plans into action, build trusted relationships with healthcare professionals and hospital decision-makers, and help close gaps in treatment regimens. Your work helps make sure the right Novo treatments reach the hospitals, wards and pharmacies where they are needed, supporting better care for people living with endocrine disorders.
What you’ll bring
This is an opportunity for experienced colleagues who know how to build hospital relationships and deliver results. You will bring:
A full-time bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Science from a recognised institution.
At least 7 years of industry experience.
Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to tailor your message to different stakeholders.
Experience collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to move work forward.
Sound judgement and integrity in following compliance, confidentiality and reporting requirements.
What you’ll do
You will own the performance of key strategic accounts, combining product knowledge, stakeholder insight and disciplined execution to grow sales and support better treatment decisions.
Implement account plans for key strategic accounts, keeping them aligned with institutional marketing campaigns and projects.
Identify and map key stakeholders – including KOLs, administrators, nurses and purchase officers – and build lasting relationships that support access to wards, pharmacies and ICUs.
Deliver sales targets with a strong service mindset, using referral patterns and trends to focus your time and resources where they create the most value.
Share in-depth knowledge of the Novo portfolio, adapting your communication to each stakeholder and showing how treatments can help close gaps in treatment regimens.
Plan and run CME and PEP activities, secure the right approvals and help ensure timely product supply, with full financial integrity.
Complete mandatory training and keep every activity compliant with internal and external regulations, including accurate and timely reporting.
Who you’ll work with
You will join the Endocrine Disorder Team, where colleagues connect commercial strategy and medical expertise to strengthen the Novo portfolio and its competitiveness.
In the field, your closest partners will be the people who shape care in your accounts: key opinion leaders, hospital administrators, nurses and purchase officers. Inside Novo, you will work closely with headquarters teams in Marketing and Market Access to turn plans into local action, align on activities and keep supply moving. Clear priorities, quick follow-through and open dialogue with these partners will help you move from insight to impact at pace.
What you can expect here
You will be trusted to own your accounts and recognised for the results you deliver, in a culture with clear performance expectations. Your experience in the field will be valued, and your voice will help shape how the team serves hospitals across your territory.
You will keep growing on the job – through new stakeholder challenges, close collaboration with colleagues in Marketing and Market Access, and relevant learning offerings that help you build new skills.

How we calculate "similar"
No black box, no LLM guesswork: a deterministic score built from four normalized attributes. Here's this role's own peer group at different match levels, so you can see the mechanism, not just the result.
Every comparison starts from the same 100-point budget: 25 for working in the same function, 40 for the same therapeutic area, 20 for the same or adjacent seniority, 15 for the same country. A dimension we can't confirm on both sides contributes nothing, never a guess, never a free pass.
0 points, never a partial guess. A role we know almost nothing about beyond its function bottoms out at 25%; it never inflates to 100% just because there's little to compare against. Seniority uses a defined ladder (Associate → Manager → Associate Director → Senior → Principal → Director → Senior Director → Executive/VP) so "Director" and "Senior Director" count as adjacent, but "Director" and "Executive/VP" do not.
