About this opportunity

Build meaningful relationships that bring life-changing rare disease therapies to the patients who need them most. In this role, you'll be at the intersection of strategy, science and commercial impact – driving hospital access, shaping marketing campaigns and engaging medical societies to ensure our rare disease portfolio reaches more patients across Thailand.

Your new role

As our Key Account Manager for Rare Disease, you will take ownership of the commercial strategy for our rare disease portfolio, combining strategic thinking with hands-on execution to expand patient access and drive growth. You will be a key connector between medical communities, internal teams and hospital stakeholders – making a direct and visible difference to patients living with rare conditions.

Day-to-day, your responsibilities will include:

- Leading the strategic listing of key rare disease products in hospitals, ensuring optimal placement and accessibility for patients

- Developing and executing marketing campaigns in collaboration with the Product Manager, driving product awareness and adoption from planning through to evaluation

- Building and maintaining strong relationships with medical societies and key opinion leaders to strengthen our presence in the rare disease community

- Conducting market analysis to identify opportunities and threats, translating insights into actionable strategies

- Aligning sales strategies and key tactics with the Product Manager, Sales Manager and wider sales team to ensure overall sales achievement

- Providing regular reports on key account activities, market trends and performance metrics to senior management

- Ensuring compliance with quality management systems and timely reporting of adverse events and customer contacts in accordance with company standards

Your new department

You will join the Rare Disease & Patient Access team, a dedicated group focused on expanding access to therapies for patients living with rare and underserved conditions. The team works closely with paediatric endocrinologists, haematologists and medical societies across Thailand, combining deep scientific knowledge with commercial acumen. Your role will be central to strengthening our rare disease footprint and ensuring our products reach the patients and healthcare professionals who need them.

Your skills & qualifications

We are looking for a driven and relationship-oriented professional who thrives in a dynamic, cross-functional environment. To succeed in this role, you will bring:

- A bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred

- Proven experience in key account management, sales or marketing within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry

- Strong understanding of the rare disease market, with experience in hospital listings and marketing campaigns

- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage confidently with medical professionals and key opinion leaders

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions

- A proactive, results-oriented approach with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across functions

- Willingness to travel 20–50% of the time

- Thai citizen or permanent resident mandatory

How we calculate "similar"

No black box, no LLM guesswork: a deterministic score built from four normalized attributes. Here's this role's own peer group at different match levels, so you can see the mechanism, not just the result.

Every comparison starts from the same 100-point budget: 25 for working in the same function, 40 for the same therapeutic area, 20 for the same or adjacent seniority, 15 for the same country. A dimension we can't confirm on both sides contributes nothing, never a guess, never a free pass.

Unmatched or unknown dimensions score exactly the same: 0 points, never a partial guess. A role we know almost nothing about beyond its function bottoms out at 25%; it never inflates to 100% just because there's little to compare against. Seniority uses a defined ladder (Associate → Manager → Associate Director → Senior → Principal → Director → Senior Director → Executive/VP) so "Director" and "Senior Director" count as adjacent, but "Director" and "Executive/VP" do not.
