About this opportunity

Department: Global Manufacturing & Supply – CMC Clinical Supplies, Digital Solutions

Location: Måløv, Denmark

Your impact begins here

As IT Project Manager, you will lead complex IT projects that keep the GxP systems behind Clinical Supplies reliable, compliant and ready for what comes next. By aligning business, IT, Quality and vendors, you help deliver the systems that support clinical trial supply, on time and in line with regulatory requirements. You will turn complex dependencies into clear plans and decisions, so specialist teams can focus on delivery.

What you’ll bring

You have led complex IT projects from start to finish and know how to deliver in a highly governed setting.

A bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT, engineering, life sciences, business, supply chain or a related field.

Extensive experience managing cross-functional IT projects, with genuine end-to-end ownership of scope, timeline, budget and risks.

Experience delivering projects that involve multiple systems, organisational areas and external vendors.

Experience managing system integrations, APIs, interfaces and data exchange between enterprise systems. You do not need to be a developer, but you understand the technology well enough to manage dependencies and risks.

Experience working in a regulated environment. Pharma, life sciences and medical devices are relevant, and so are banking, energy, defence and other highly controlled industries.

Experience coordinating testing, validation, documentation, change control and implementation activities.

You navigate diverse stakeholder interests, build alignment and drive collaboration across technical teams, business functions and senior management.

Professional proficiency in written and spoken English.

Experience with project governance, budget follow-up, resource planning and status reporting, including clear communication of project status and costs to stakeholders.

Useful, but not essential:

Experience with MES (for example PAS-X), Interactive Response Technology, Computer System Validation, GAMP 5 or regulated cloud and SaaS solutions.

A recognised project management certification, such as PRINCE2 or PMP.

Experience combining agile ways of working with structured project governance.

What you’ll do

You will own delivery of IT projects in a regulated GxP environment, creating structure and keeping everyone moving in the same direction.

Lead projects from initiation and planning through implementation to structured handover to system ownership, support and business operations.

Drive integration and API projects between GxP and business-critical systems, aligning requirements, solution design, interfaces and data flows.

Manage scope, milestones, budget, resources, risks, dependencies and decisions.

Coordinate testing, validation, release readiness and cutover, making sure deliverables meet GxP, quality, security and privacy requirements.

Manage vendor deliverables and performance together with Procurement and relevant internal functions.

Give senior stakeholders transparent reporting and clear decision material, and lead business readiness, training and procedural updates.

Who you’ll work with

You will join the IT team for GxP systems within Clinical Supplies, part of Global Manufacturing & Supply in CMC. In Global Manufacturing & Supply, colleagues work across the value chain to scale molecules, processes, devices and products for the people who need them.

Your team is based in Denmark and works closely with colleagues in India, while a sister team looks after non-GxP systems. Across the systems landscape, around 40 IT professionals may be involved in your projects, together with external partners.

Day to day, you will partner with Product Owners, System Managers, Solution Architects, developers, validation specialists, Quality Assurance and business representatives. A fellow Project Manager will be your peer and sparring partner.

What you can expect here

This is a role with real ownership. You will step into a project that is already moving, with a growing pipeline of IT projects behind it, and you will be trusted to shape how it is delivered. You will have a peer Project Manager to learn from and challenge your thinking, and the chance to broaden your skills across systems, vendors and functions. Clear expectations and honest feedback help you perform at your best.

Salary: For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 651,000 to 956,900 DKK, corresponding to the level of the position. The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.

How we calculate "similar"

No black box, no LLM guesswork: a deterministic score built from four normalized attributes. Here's this role's own peer group at different match levels, so you can see the mechanism, not just the result.

Every comparison starts from the same 100-point budget: 25 for working in the same function, 40 for the same therapeutic area, 20 for the same or adjacent seniority, 15 for the same country. A dimension we can't confirm on both sides contributes nothing, never a guess, never a free pass.

Unmatched or unknown dimensions score exactly the same: 0 points, never a partial guess. A role we know almost nothing about beyond its function bottoms out at 25%; it never inflates to 100% just because there's little to compare against. Seniority uses a defined ladder (Associate → Manager → Associate Director → Senior → Principal → Director → Senior Director → Executive/VP) so "Director" and "Senior Director" count as adjacent, but "Director" and "Executive/VP" do not.
