The Opportunity
With this announcement, the Clinical Demand and Supply Planning department is offering an internship, which is primarily aimed at students in the supply chain area, for a duration of at least 6 months. The position actively supports the team in the areas of network planning and demand/supply planning and supports the management team in administrative and strategic issues. Our team in Kaiseraugst creates demand planning for medication used in Roche’s clinical trials. A supply plan is derived from demand planning, which includes sourcing, packaging and shipping of this medication. As stakeholder managers, we work closely with a large number of departments outside of Clinical Supply (Technical Development, Clinical Operations, various regulatory and quality teams), incorporate their needs into our planning activities and represent the Clinical Supply area to customer organizations. As matrix leaders and those responsible for planning within Clinical Supply, we work closely with the internal teams that are responsible for the operational implementation of sourcing, packaging, shipping and release based on our supply plan.
As an intern in the Clinical Demand and Supply Planning (PTDS-P) department at the Kaiseraugst production site, you will support the team in a variety of matters. In this internship you will:
Identify and advance process improvement
Collaborate on KPI and metric development, recording and evaluation
Provide reporting support
Evolve dashboards
Support the team with demand and inventory management
Provide administrative support to the management team
Actively support knowledge management

How we calculate "similar"
No black box, no LLM guesswork: a deterministic score built from four normalized attributes. Here's this role's own peer group at different match levels, so you can see the mechanism, not just the result.
Every comparison starts from the same 100-point budget: 25 for working in the same function, 40 for the same therapeutic area, 20 for the same or adjacent seniority, 15 for the same country. A dimension we can't confirm on both sides contributes nothing, never a guess, never a free pass.
0 points, never a partial guess. A role we know almost nothing about beyond its function bottoms out at 25%; it never inflates to 100% just because there's little to compare against. Seniority uses a defined ladder (Associate → Manager → Associate Director → Senior → Principal → Director → Senior Director → Executive/VP) so "Director" and "Senior Director" count as adjacent, but "Director" and "Executive/VP" do not.
