Do you combine end-to-end supply chain expertise with a passion for data, planning, operational excellence and cross-functional collaboration?

Join the Distribution Network Team within J&J IMSC DELIVER EMEA Hubs and help strengthen reliable, compliant and future-ready distribution across our European hubs and wider network.

You will connect network and market needs with operational realities across manufacturing, planning, transport, quality, European hubs, external partners and analytics teams. Your work will turn operational insights into aligned priorities, effective solutions and sustainable improvements across distribution, warehousing, value-added services and capacity management.

The opportunity

As Hubs Distribution Network Specialist, you will provide expert support across the Distribution Network Coordination Team, with a focus on distribution and warehousing excellence, capacity and flow management, value-added services, network resilience and cross-market coordination.

You will work in and beyond day-to-day operations to identify network risks and opportunities, coordinate complex issues, support strategic initiatives and translate data into actionable recommendations. Through strong partnerships across functions, you will help ensure that Hubs operations remain reliable, compliant, efficient and responsive to evolving business and patient needs.

Key responsibilities

Be the single point of contact for all SC stakeholders of one or more countries/regions within the worldwide distribution network. This means that you will support the end-to-end supply chain processes resulting in excellent customer experience.

Provide expert support for complex distribution, warehousing and end-to-end network challenges, coordinating priorities and escalations across hubs, markets and functions.

Analyze incoming and outgoing inventory flows/plans, storage utilization, operational workload and capacity; anticipate constraints and coordinate appropriate mitigation with SMEs.

Lead or support cross-functional initiatives involving distribution processes, value-added services, business continuity, network changes and strategic hub priorities.

Drive performance management through meaningful KPIs, data analytics and trend analysis, translating insights into decisions, accountability and improvement actions.

Support governance and continuous improvement of specialized capabilities such as VAS, transport, systems, capacity, BCP, automation, and external storage solutions.

Strengthen network resilience through scenario and capacity planning, risk management, operating standards, process optimization and sustainable capability building.

What success looks like

Complex network issues are addressed with clear ownership, timely escalation and effective cross-functional up- and downstream coordination bearing E2E impact in mind.

Capacity, inventory, service and operational risks are identified early enough to create meaningful mitigation options with relevant technical SMEs.

Distribution, warehousing and VAS processes remain reliable, compliant and aligned with market and patient needs.

Stakeholders work from trusted data and shared performance insights when setting priorities and making decisions.

Strategic projects and operational improvements translate into sustainable changes in processes, tools and ways of working.

Qualifications and experience

Significant experience in supply chain, distribution, warehousing, planning, logistics, operations or network support.

Strong understanding of end-to-end distribution and planning processes and the interaction between manufacturing, inventory, distribution operations, transport, markets and customers.

Demonstrated ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives and coordinate stakeholders at both strategic and operational levels.

Experience with performance management, value-added services, business continuity, systems, automation or network projects is an advantage.

Experience in a regulated, pharmaceutical, healthcare or similarly complex international environment is preferred.

Fluent in English, written and spoken, Dutch is plus

How we calculate "similar"

No black box, no LLM guesswork: a deterministic score built from four normalized attributes. Here's this role's own peer group at different match levels, so you can see the mechanism, not just the result.

Every comparison starts from the same 100-point budget: 25 for working in the same function, 40 for the same therapeutic area, 20 for the same or adjacent seniority, 15 for the same country. A dimension we can't confirm on both sides contributes nothing, never a guess, never a free pass.

Unmatched or unknown dimensions score exactly the same: 0 points, never a partial guess. A role we know almost nothing about beyond its function bottoms out at 25%; it never inflates to 100% just because there's little to compare against. Seniority uses a defined ladder (Associate → Manager → Associate Director → Senior → Principal → Director → Senior Director → Executive/VP) so "Director" and "Senior Director" count as adjacent, but "Director" and "Executive/VP" do not.
