Job Summary (Primary function): The GVHD Account Manager is responsible for the promotion and sales of Incyte’s portfolio of GVHD products within bone marrow transplant centers, academic institutions and referrals from community oncology practices. This role serves as the primary customer contact and is responsible for executing strategic business plans, engaging BMT healthcare professionals, and driving appropriate utilization of Incyte’s GVHD product portfolio to support patients with chronic graft-versus-host disease (cGVHD). This position requires strong clinical and business acumen, a high degree of professionalism, and an ability to engage deeply with both BMT specialists and broader clinical teams. The representative must also support seamless coordination across internal stakeholders and products. Essential Functions of the Job (Key Responsibilities) · Consistently achieve or exceed revenue and demand generation targets for Niktimvo/Jakafi. · Develop and maintain a comprehensive business plan grounded in market insights, patient journey dynamics, and account-specific intelligence. · Build and maintain strong clinical acumen in cGVHD, BMT processes, and Niktimvo’s differentiated clinical profile. · Deliver scientifically credible, compliant promotional messages and disease state education to key BMT stakeholders, including transplant physicians, nurse coordinators, pharmacists, and other decision-makers. · Engage confidently with BMT specialists and broader clinical care teams (e.g., nurses, access/reimbursement personnel) to drive product awareness and appropriate use. · Understand referral patterns and transitions of care (e.g., from community oncologists to transplant centers) to support appropriate product adoption. · Manage the complexities of access, including product logistics, specialty pharmacy distribution, and site-of-care considerations within transplant centers. · Coordinate effectively with cross-functional partners, including Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs) and Key Account Managers (KAMs), to ensure aligned messaging and minimize customer confusion. · Partner across internal stakeholders to define and manage the appropriate prioritization and positioning of Niktimvo and Jakafi. · Leverage cross-functional matrix partners (e.g., Access & Reimbursement, Medical Affairs, Marketing) to support patient access and optimize customer engagement. · Represent Incyte in a professional, compliant, and ethical manner. · Provide actionable field insights to inform marketing, access, and sales strategy. · Develop deep relationships with leading BMT centers and thought leaders. · In-person interactions with customers in clinical settings and virtually as needed. · Willingness and ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory. Qualifications (Minimal acceptable level of education, work experience, and competencies) · Bachelor’s degree required. · Minimum of 8 years of pharmaceutical or biotech sales experience. · Minimum of 3 years of experience calling on academic institutions or transplant centers strongly preferred. · Prior experience in hematology, oncology, immunology, or rare disease required; BMT experience strongly preferred. · Demonstrated success launching specialty or biologic products in complex clinical settings. · Strong business planning and account management capabilities. · Proven ability to gain access and build enduring professional relationships with key decision-makers in academic medical centers. · Effective communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills. · Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative, and evolving environment. · Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
