Our Team, Your Impact

The External Manufacturing (ExM) Governance & Digitalization Lead will build and run the ExM governance operating system and accelerate digital enablement across the global CMO/CDMO network. The role is a cornerstone of the ExM Business Operations capability, owning the strategic roadmap control tower, standardizing ways of working across ExM, and digitalizing relationships with CMOs.

Key Responsibilities

1. Governance Operating System

Design and implement governance cadence, decision rights, and KPI framework

Establish escalation and action tracking processes

Ensure consistency and transparency in performance management

2. Standardization of Ways of Working

Develop and deploy standard work, templates, and playbooks

Harmonize practices across ExM verticals and functions

Drive adoption through change management and training

3. Digitalization of CMO Relationships

Define digital strategy aligned with CMO segmentation

Enable dashboards, shared workflows, and data visibility

Partner with IT to implement secure collaboration tools

4. Strategic Roadmap & Control Tower

Own transformation roadmap governance and reporting

Provide insights for prioritization and decision-making

Ensure alignment across functions and initiatives

Your Skills and Experience

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Supply Chain, or related field

8–12+ years in pharma/biotech operations or external manufacturing

Strong experience in governance design and digital transformation

Skills
