Acting as a trusted advisor to executive leadership teams, the Global Client Partner builds long-term strategic relationships while mobilizing IQVIA's full portfolio of capabilities to help clients make critical commercial, evidence, market access, medical, and launch decisions.

This role partners closely with CEOs, founders, Chief Commercial Officers, Heads of International Business, Commercial Strategy, Market Access, Medical Affairs, and other senior leaders to shape commercialization strategies, accelerate launch readiness, and identify opportunities for growth across the asset lifecycle. Lead strategic engagement around priority assets by understanding development milestones, competitive dynamics, market opportunities, launch risks, evidence needs, and global expansion objectives.

Develop asset-based account strategies that align IQVIA capabilities with client priorities from late-stage development through launch, international expansion, and lifecycle growth.

Advise clients on commercialization strategy, launch readiness, market access, evidence generation, operating model design, and market entry priorities across the US, Europe, China, Japan, and other priority geographies.

Connect IQVIA Consulting, Analytics, Real World Evidence, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Technology, RDS, and Commercial Execution into integrated molecule-to-market solutions.

Shape and sponsor complex, cross-functional opportunities by mobilizing senior IQVIA leaders and subject matter experts across Asia, the US, Europe, and global delivery teams to create differentiated client value.

Lead internal account planning and governance across global and regional teams to ensure coordinated engagement, clear priorities, consistent client messaging, and strong handoffs across markets.

Represent the client's voice within IQVIA, translating Asia-based client ambitions, asset priorities, and partnership expectations into practical action and long-term global partnership value.

How we calculate "similar"

No black box, no LLM guesswork: a deterministic score built from four normalized attributes. Here's this role's own peer group at different match levels, so you can see the mechanism, not just the result.

Every comparison starts from the same 100-point budget: 25 for working in the same function, 40 for the same therapeutic area, 20 for the same or adjacent seniority, 15 for the same country. A dimension we can't confirm on both sides contributes nothing, never a guess, never a free pass.

Unmatched or unknown dimensions score exactly the same: 0 points, never a partial guess. A role we know almost nothing about beyond its function bottoms out at 25%; it never inflates to 100% just because there's little to compare against. Seniority uses a defined ladder (Associate → Manager → Associate Director → Senior → Principal → Director → Senior Director → Executive/VP) so "Director" and "Senior Director" count as adjacent, but "Director" and "Executive/VP" do not.
