Accountabilities
Lead the Sales and Marketing business planning and management activities for AstraZeneca Biologics Portfolio in line with ambitious growth plans, translating strategy into clear, measurable actions.
Develop and implement franchise strategies that transform and shape treatment pathways, ensuring our brands play a meaningful role at every step of the patient journey.
Lead and drive new product launches with excellence, orchestrating cross-functional teams to deliver impactful launch plans that gain rapid, sustainable traction in the market.
Guide and coach a team of sales and marketing professionals, setting clear expectations, tracking performance, and addressing challenges early to secure brand objectives.
Own the commercial strategy for Biologics Portfolio in Egypt, ensuring delivery of sales targets while balancing profitability, access, and long-term brand equity.
Define brand priorities through a robust cross-functional brand planning process, aligned with alliances, internal standards, and local market dynamics.
Work cross functionally to ensure seamless collaboration between medical, market access, regulatory and other key functions, with a strong focus on unlocking market access opportunities.
Ensure effective product communication and promotional support, driving implementation of marketing plans that deliver on sales, margin, and profit goals.
Conduct ongoing market analysis, including scenario planning, trend monitoring and competitor intelligence, to inform agile decision-making and course correction.
Champion innovation and digitalization across marketing channels, testing new approaches, scaling what works and retiring what does not.
Build and maintain strong relationships with KOLs and HCOs, aligning local initiatives with global and international projects and guidance to maximize impact.
Essential Skills/Experience
Respiratory experience is mandatory
Strong Sales & Marketing experience is essential
Proven launch experience in Respiratory and other therapy areas
People management experience
Business Insights & Customer Focus
Managing complexity and decision quality
Cultivating innovation & Strategic mindset
Managing resources, execution& focusing on performance through setting accountabilities and influence
Optimizing diverse talent and recognizing the value of different perspectives and cultures
Access & Reimbursement Expertise: Proven experience in developing and executing access/reimbursement plans
Cross-Functional Leadership: Strong leadership across CFTs, with a proven track record of driving clear, impactful initiatives and alignment across functions
Desirable Skills/Experience
