About this opportunity

ROLE SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced Product & Delivery leader to strengthen Product Management, Customer Experience (CX), Delivery, and AI-native capabilities across Pfizer. As the Product & Delivery Community Lead, you will cultivate a global practitioner community that helps colleagues learn from one another, share emerging practices, and accelerate capability development across the enterprise. By translating strategic priorities into impactful programs, experiences, and communities, you will drive adoption, advance practitioner maturity, and help Pfizer scale what works.

You are a credible practitioner, skilled community builder, and experienced change leader who can engage senior leaders and frontline colleagues alike. You bring strong executive presence and use clear, compelling storytelling to foster understanding and commitment. Working through influence rather than authority, you will align diverse stakeholders and drive changes in standards, mindsets, and behaviors as part of Pfizer’s digital transformation.

In partnership with AI Platforms & Product Excellence leadership, you will execute capability-building programs, steward networks, interactive learning experiences, conferences, workshops, mentoring, and recognition initiatives. You will identify capability gaps, establish meaningful measures of engagement, adoption, and maturity, and use practitioner insights to continuously improve programs and scale emerging practices across Pfizer.

Operating across a complex global organization, you will connect practitioners across functions and geographies and coordinate enterprise-wide adoption efforts. Based at Pfizer’s New York headquarters, you will serve as a visible advocate for the practitioner community and a beacon of Product & Delivery Excellence across Pfizer.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Community Leadership & Operations: Lead the execution and day-to-day operation of the Product & Delivery Community with minimal oversight, including its governance, communications, annual programming, membership, and engagement cadences. Sustain a connected global network spanning disciplines, business units, and geographies.

Capability Building & Maturity Advancement: Design and scale learning pathways, mentoring networks, and upskilling that strengthen practitioner capability and accelerate adoption of Pfizer-native best practices. Practice Evolution & Knowledge Management: Identify and socialize emerging practices, lessons learned, and spotlight internal innovations. Curate enterprise standards, playbooks, frameworks, and shared learning resources that help practitioners navigate complexity and improve outcomes.

Flagship Experiences & Community Advocacy: Serve as the Master of Ceremonies (MC) of the Product & Delivery Community and own its programming and colleague experience. Design and lead virtual conferences, in-person workshops, maintaining a high standard for content, storytelling, energy, and execution across every touchpoint.

Measurement & Business Impact: Own the community performance framework and success metrics. Measure engagement, capability growth, practice adoption, and organizational maturity, using insights to demonstrate impact, improve programming, and guide priorities and investments.

Matrix Leadership & Organizational Change: Lead a small team of direct reports and mobilize a distributed network of community leaders and Guild stewards. Build alignment, sponsorship, and adoption across the enterprise through practitioner credibility, executive presence, and influence rather than authority.

How we calculate "similar"

No black box, no LLM guesswork: a deterministic score built from four normalized attributes. Here's this role's own peer group at different match levels, so you can see the mechanism, not just the result.

Every comparison starts from the same 100-point budget: 25 for working in the same function, 40 for the same therapeutic area, 20 for the same or adjacent seniority, 15 for the same country. A dimension we can't confirm on both sides contributes nothing, never a guess, never a free pass.

Unmatched or unknown dimensions score exactly the same: 0 points, never a partial guess. A role we know almost nothing about beyond its function bottoms out at 25%; it never inflates to 100% just because there's little to compare against. Seniority uses a defined ladder (Associate → Manager → Associate Director → Senior → Principal → Director → Senior Director → Executive/VP) so "Director" and "Senior Director" count as adjacent, but "Director" and "Executive/VP" do not.
