About the role:

As Director Global Supply Chain Compliance, you will define and drive BioNTech's global supply chain compliance strategy across all sites while leading and developing the compliance team. You will play a central role in building robust processes that support our mission of advancing medicine worldwide.

Your contribution:

Drive the enhancement of our supply chain compliance structures and standards to support our product launches.

Set priorities, allocate resources and ensure alignment with quality and business objectives across all regions and act as the key interface to quality functions

Define, harmonize, and implement global GxP and compliance standards, policies, and procedures across the product supply network

Oversee deviations, change controls, validation activities, corrective actions, audit findings, and standard operating procedures using risk-based approaches

Ensure continuous audit and inspection readiness for global supply chain processes; act as the key contact for quality assurance, auditors, and regulatory authorities

Drive timely remediation measures and improvement initiatives to maintain high compliance standards

Collaborate with internal functions and key suppliers to ensure compliant material qualification, effective quality agreements, and robust end-to-end supply chain processes

A good match:

Academic degree in scientific studies, engineering oder related fields with extensive professional experience (+ 10 years) in global supply chain / logistics and/or compliance / quality roles within pharmaceutical/biotech or other regulated industries

Experience in oversee GxP deviations, change controls, CAPA measures, inspection and audit findings in the GMP/GDP area

Extensive experience in pharmaceutical / biotech or other regulated environments

Strong logistics expertise combined with conceptual thinking and a structured mindset

Proven ability to lead teams effectively while managing resources to achieve organizational goals

Strong leadership experience in managing complex international projects with senior-level stakeholder engagement

Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration (e.g. Quality, MS&T, manufacturing, procurement)

Fluent Englisch, German is a plus
