About this opportunity

Your impact begins here

As Director, you will lead the Site Integration team in Global Manufacturing & Supply. You will guide a global portfolio of acquisition integrations, divestment carve-outs and selected site improvement projects. You will turn priorities into clear plans, help your team deliver at pace and make sure every site is ready on Day 1, with named owners in place at handover. Your work helps sites joining or leaving the network keep operations steady and changes lasting.

What you’ll bring

You are a people leader who delivers through others, and you know how to keep complex, cross-functional change moving. You will bring:

A master’s degree in business, engineering, finance, strategy or a related discipline.

People leadership experience, including motivating, developing and managing experienced professionals.

Experience leading complex cross-functional projects, including acquisition integration or comparable business transitions.

Experience overseeing several projects at once and balancing priorities, resources and delivery commitments.

A strong understanding of operational and functional dependencies.

Experience working in a multinational organisation, managing senior stakeholders and influencing across organisational levels.

The ability to build trust, influence without direct authority, challenge constructively and resolve conflicting priorities.

Clear communication, active listening and cultural sensitivity, with sound business judgement and structured problem-solving.

Useful, but not essential:

Experience with carve-outs, transition service agreements or site improvement projects.

Experience in pharmaceuticals or another regulated industry.

What you’ll do

You will be accountable for the people and overall performance of the Site Integration team and its portfolio, working within approved mandates, budgets and governance. Your team members own their projects; you provide direction, oversight and support, and you may lead selected projects yourself.

Turn agreed priorities into a delivery plan, recommend project sequencing and resource allocation, and make sure your team has the capacity and capabilities to deliver.

Oversee acquisition integrations from pre-close planning and Day 1 readiness through operating model implementation and closure and provide integration input to due diligence when requested.

Oversee assigned carve-outs, including separation planning, Day 1 readiness, transition service agreements and handover, together with business and functional owners.

Agree scope and targets for selected site improvement projects, track results with site and Finance owners, and make sure improvements are embedded in daily operations.

Review progress, risks, dependencies, budgets and benefits with your team, prepare recommendations for governance decisions and escalate material issues early.

Coach your team, give honest feedback, support succession and use lessons learned to improve the team’s methods, playbooks and tools.

Who you’ll work with

You will join Site Integration within Global Manufacturing & Supply, where colleagues work across Global Manufacturing and Supply to scale molecules, processes, devices and products for the people who need them. You will report to the Vice President of GCO & Integration Projects and lead a team of around 10 professionals across all levels.

Your scope is global. You will work closely with project sponsors, steering groups and senior leaders, as well as site management and functional partners across Product Supply, Quality, Digital, Data & IT, Finance, Legal, People & Organisation and Corporate Development. You will also engage leaders and employees at acquired sites or sites involved in carve-outs, alongside buyers, sellers, external advisers and transition partners. Your role is to bring these perspectives together, create clarity on priorities, secure timely decisions and keep delivery moving.

What you can expect here

You will have a high degree of independence to lead your portfolio within agreed mandates, and your voice will help shape how integrations, separations and site improvements are delivered. You will gain broad experience across sites, functions and the manufacturing value chain, and grow your leadership through demanding, high-visibility projects.

You will build a team where people are supported, trusted to own their work and recognised for results. The work involves confidential information and moves at pace, so clarity, care and integrity matter every day.

Salary: For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 940,800 to 1,448,700 DKK, corresponding to the level of the position. The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.

How we calculate "similar"

No black box, no LLM guesswork: a deterministic score built from four normalized attributes. Here's this role's own peer group at different match levels, so you can see the mechanism, not just the result.

Every comparison starts from the same 100-point budget: 25 for working in the same function, 40 for the same therapeutic area, 20 for the same or adjacent seniority, 15 for the same country. A dimension we can't confirm on both sides contributes nothing, never a guess, never a free pass.

Unmatched or unknown dimensions score exactly the same: 0 points, never a partial guess. A role we know almost nothing about beyond its function bottoms out at 25%; it never inflates to 100% just because there's little to compare against. Seniority uses a defined ladder (Associate → Manager → Associate Director → Senior → Principal → Director → Senior Director → Executive/VP) so "Director" and "Senior Director" count as adjacent, but "Director" and "Executive/VP" do not.
