The Position

Our DP manufacturing network (PTM) plays a critical role in bringing innovative medicines to patients. We own day-to-day DP operations, maintain end-to-end visibility of product flows and quality, and ensure a clear line of sight to patient impact. Our network spans 5 sites, encompassing both DP and finished goods (FG) operations.

The Opportunity

As the Data & Digital and Strategic Programs Leader, you will step into a pivotal strategic role within the PTM Business Operations and Manufacturing Excellence function. In this role, you will define and execute the global digital and operational excellence strategy for the Drug Product (DP) network, ensuring manufacturing priorities align closely with enterprise goals. Acting as a catalyst for value delivery, you will drive digital transformation, project management excellence, and performance accountability across our internal and external global facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive Digital Strategy & Advanced Analytics: Lead the Digital Roadmap for the DP network, establishing robust data governance and steering the AI translation and transition roadmap to accelerate digital adoption.

Orchestrate the Strategic PMO: Oversee the PMO function for the Operational Excellence Roadmap, implementing rigorous governance, tracking mechanisms, and network-wide change management strategies.

Foster an Improvement Culture: Cultivate a high-performing, agile culture with a relentless focus on continuous improvement, mentoring global leaders to embed operational discipline.

Advance Capability Building: Collaborate closely with the Learning Academy to integrate critical digital skills and Lean/Six Sigma methodologies into the organizational framework.

Deploy Global S&OP Processes: Lead the global deployment of the PTM Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process to optimize supply-demand alignment, capacity utilization, and operational resilience.

Lead Business & Stakeholder Integration: Deeply align with key internal technical, quality, and commercial functions, while coordinating manufacturing inputs for Business Development and Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) alliances.

Connect with External Networks: Establish and maintain active connections with external industry experts and peers to integrate specialized knowledge and best practices across the network.

Who You Are

You are a strategic and analytical leader who excels at translating complex opportunities into concrete, structured execution plans. You possess strong personal judgment, tackle ambiguous problems with data-driven insights, and comfortably orchestrate multiple complex activities simultaneously within a global matrix environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

Extensive Tech Ops Leadership: 15 or more years of progressive leadership experience within a global pharmaceutical manufacturing environment, spanning full-stack Technical Operations (Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Quality).

Digital & Strategic Acumen: A proven track record of defining and executing digital transformation roadmaps, including advanced data analytics and AI implementation.

Business & Financial Expertise: Deep understanding of the end-to-end value chain and profit and loss (P&L) management, with significant experience governing large operational and capital budgets.

Operational Excellence & PMO Mastery: Expert-level capability in driving competitive advantage through LEAN methodologies alongside demonstrated success leading large-scale PMO functions and global change initiatives.

Influence & Collaboration: Exceptional ability to build high-performing teams and foster deep integration across diverse internal functions and external alliance partners.
