Job Summary: The Content Review Operations Coordinator is responsible for managing and executing the end-to-end medical, legal, and regulatory review processes for promotional or medical content within Genentech. This role ensures that content moves efficiently, compliantly, and transparently through the review cycle, supporting timely approvals and audit readiness. The role is critical to ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements while enabling speed to market for high-quality, approved content.

The Opportunity:

Develop and execute Content Review Operations plans aligned with compliance and product standards, including planning inputs and resource allocation to optimize review processes.

Lead and manage content review processes, including Medical, Legal, and Regulatory (MLR), ensuring adherence to SOPs, quality standards, regulatory requirements, and Genentech policies.

Manage material flow through review, including submission validation, agenda preparation, review meeting facilitation, follow-ups, timely decision-making, and issue resolution.

Validate and steward content metadata and business rules to support modular content product standards and align with campaign or above-campaign business needs; provide resources and ongoing support on evolving content systems, processes, and standards.

Identify and mitigate process gaps, risks, and compliance issues; escalate as needed, partner with content owners to ensure standards are followed, maintain audit trails and compliance documentation, and support experimentation to improve efficiency and operational outcomes.

Who you are:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with 5 years in roles partnering with a variety of stakeholders and 3 years in professional roles focused on content/digital asset management, content or marketing operations, content review/approval, compliance, and/or governance.

Experience using Veeva Vault PromoMats (VVPM) or similar tools as the primary system for content/digital asset management and review/approval, plus experience with Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Teams, Word, SharePoint, and others.

Experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, biotech, or other highly regulated industries, with a strong understanding of marketing and medical content lifecycles, digital content strategies, and regulatory compliance in marketing.

Proven ability to develop operational processes and leverage technology to improve efficiency and compliance, supported by excellent program management and advanced communication skills for collaboration with enterprise stakeholders across functions.

Additional desired experience includes knowledge of creative development and print/distribution systems, in-depth understanding of brand ecosystems and agency operations, and an adaptive, agile mindset with commitment to continuous process improvement.
