This Chapter Lead / Director oversees end-to-end supply chain operations for Roche Canada Pharma across the full product portfolio, ensuring a reliable, compliant, and patient-centric supply chain that delivers for every patient, every time, while safeguarding Roche Canada’s right to operate.

The Chapter Lead / Director leads and develops a high-performing team, ensuring the right capabilities, and mindset, acting as a visionary, architect, catalyst, and coach, the role fosters a proactive, high-performance culture aligned with global and local strategies, including Pharma Vision.

This position drives the strategic optimization of trade channels, enabling differentiated last-mile delivery and strengthening Roche’s position as a preferred partner to key customers. It also builds strong internal and external relationships across Roche Canada, global teams, and trade partners to ensure alignment and impact.

The Opportunity:

People Leadership & Purposeful visionary: Lead, inspire, and develop the Logistics & Supply Chain team to deliver high performance and operational excellence across all therapeutic areas, including  fostering a culture of continuous learning, accountability, and collaboration and promoting an inclusive and engaging team environment that encourages innovation and intentional improvement.

Accountable for the end-to-end affiliate Supply Chain strategy, providing both strategic and operational direction in alignment with local and global business objectives and initiatives.

Champion collaboration & partnership with internal & external stakeholders to deliver value across the supply chain: Partner with key leaders within the organization such as Chapter leads and V.P.s in Sales/Marketing, Finance, Quality Management, Govt. Relations and Market Access to develop mutual strategies, increase collaboration, and address operational challenges.

Ensure Canadian patients have reliable access to Roche product: Foster alignment with all internal stakeholders on Sales & Operations planning to support global manufacturing, integrated planning to effective decision-making.

Represent Roche as Operating committee member of the Canadian Pharmaceutical Distribution Network (CPDN), contributing to governance, strategic direction, and cross-industry collaboration to ensure an efficient, compliant, and cost-effective distribution model for delivering pharmaceutical products to the hospital network across Canada.

Assess and interpret the pharmaceutical distribution and trading partner landscape in Canada and globally and evaluate the corresponding implications for Roche Canada and it’s portfolio.

Safeguard the organization’s license to operate

Who you are:

Bachelor's degree is required, MBA is preferred

You possess over 15+ years of which 7+ years of leadership experience within the highly competitive pharmaceutical/biotechnology sector, demonstrating progress in roles

Ability to lead, inspire, and develop high-performing teams with a focus on continuous learning, accountability, collaboration, and inclusivity

Demonstrated experience in end-to-end supply chain strategy and operations, with ability to align decisions with both local and global business objectives

Understanding of the pharmaceutical distribution landscape, regulatory requirements, and ability to ensure patient access to products while maintaining compliance and license to operate

Experience in industry governance, strategic planning, and the ability to represent the organization at the executive level while evaluating market trends and implications for business strategy
