Lead the future of vaccine innovation and commercial excellence.   We are   seeking   a strategic and commercially driven   Associate Director, Vaccines , Commer cial Operations   to lead portfolio strategy, marketing execution, and business performance across our vaccines ’   portfolio   in   Australia . This highly influential leadership role offers the opportunity to drive growth, shape   customer   and government engagement strategies, develop   a   high-performing team, and build key industry partnerships that deliver meaningful health outcomes and sustainable business succes s.

Working with   stakeholders across the commercial, regulatory, marketing,   medical,   market access,   quality , customer service, supply chain   and manufacturing teams,   in a dynamic environment,   strategic analytical skills , problem solving and   collaboration   will be critical   to navigating ambiguity and   developing   innovative and effective   business solutions .

Responsibilities

Based at CSL Melbourne and leading   a highly capably team   you will:

Lead,   Develop and   oversee the   execution   of   strategic   portfolio and Brand   plans that drive revenue growth, maximise portfolio performance, and deliver strong return on investment.

Leverage market insights, customer engagement, and commercial analysis to   identify   growth opportunities, strengthen key customer relationships, and evaluate new business opportunities.

Partner with key account, channel, and sales leadership teams to develop and execute commercial strategies that achieve business   objectives   and sales targets.

D rive execution excellence through robust business planning, local market initiatives, effective incentive programs, and capability-building across teams.

Build and sustain strategic partnerships with government stakeholders, industry bodies, KOLs, customers, and external partners to advance business   objectives   and organisational reputation.

Lead through influence by driving cross-functional collaboration, championing compliance and ethical standards, and   identifying   opportunities to enhance organisational performance.   Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance, aligned with company values and strategic priorities.

Coach, develop, and empower team members to achieve their full potential while supporting career growth and engagement.

Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role you will bring:

Bachelor’s degree in business /marketing, life   sciences   or healthcare discipline (science, medicine,   pharmacy   or nursing); MBA or other graduate degree preferred .

8 +   years in the   Pharmaceutical   industry in sales and marketing roles

Portfolio management with brands in   different stages   of lifecycle with experience in launch.

Strong strategic and analytical leader with the ability to   leverage   insights, drive business planning, and optimise portfolio performance for growth and ROI.

Demonstrated   success   leading a team of   brand managers ideally in the   pharmaceutical   industry .

Marketing or business development experience and a comprehensive understanding of the pharmaceutical market .

E ffective people leader ship skills   with strong coaching, communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

Proven capability to build and influence senior stakeholder relationships, including KOLs, government partners, in-licensing partners, and cross-functional leadership teams.

Outstanding customer-focus and drive for results, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deliver innovative promotion strategies, and consistently exceed targets.
