Associate - Commercial Contracts
About this opportunity
We are seeking an Associate, Commercial Contracts in our Finance team. This is a multi-faceted role with responsibilities surrounding (1) commercial contracts operations with customers for sale of pharmaceutical products, while also supporting (2) general finance.
The role will be based in Princeton, NJ (Hybrid - 4 days in office) and will report to Director of Commercial Contracts
Responsibilities:
Commercial Contracts:
Manage commercial contracts operations for assigned accounts in Dr. Reddy’s Generic (Rx) business, Specialty Rx (SRx) and Over-The-Counter (OTC) divisions
Prepare, review, and generate contract operations documents for assigned accounts, such as: Offer letters (Product Proposals, Pricing Adjustments)
RFP/RFI (Request for Proposal/Request for Information) submissions
Mass customer notices (WAC changes, discontinuations)
Review Terms and Conditions
Other ad/hoc requests as they may arise
Assist in contract negotiations alongside Director of Commercial Contracts for Offers and Agreements to negotiate contractual terms that align with Dr. Reddy's policies and business objectives, both: With internal cross-functional teams such as Sales, Marketing, Management, and Legal
Externally with Customers
Maintain/update various databases in Salesforce with updates on pricing and terms/conditions.
Coordinate conference calls with the sales team for open bid / contracts updates and provide contract summaries
Work closely with overseas finance team on system updates; price/rebate/fee loading; chargeback queries, addressing other queries as they arise
Load pricing in SAP/Vistex as needed
Disseminate information to appropriate internal parties as required
Develop improvements in both Commercial Contracts and Finance to improve savings and efficiency
Support the business teams in new streams of business and in other items that may arise
Perform other duties, as assigned
Finance:
Support credit review team to work with internal stakeholders to update and review credit limit order blocks and adjustments for customers

Qualifications:
Education: B.S. in Accounting/Finance preferred
Work Experience:
1-4 years of pharmaceutical pricing and experience drafting Customer Proposals, Price Changes, and Requests for Pricing (RFP’s) required
Experience reviewing business agreement/ financial terms and conditions review strongly preferred
Skills & attributes:
Familiarity and understanding of Contractual terms, such as Failure to Supply, MFN/Competitive Pricing, Price Protection, and Rebate and Fee language
Attention to detail in reviewing and understanding business documents and commercial terms alongside cross-functional teams
Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word for reviewing and drafting Customer Proposal and Commercial Terms
Familiarity with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platforms, and ability to learn Dr. Reddy's custom platform embedded in Salesforce (BRIGHT)
Familiarity with SAP/Vistex and other ERP systems
Strong communication (verbal & written) & interpersonal skills
Excellent problem solving, organization and analytical skills
High attention to detail with proven ability to handle multiple projects/multi-task
Ability to meet aggressive deadlines and adapt to a rapidly changing environment
Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident of U.S. or otherwise authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring visa transfer or sponsorship, now or in the future.
