Contribute to business capability roadmaps by gathering stakeholder input, documenting needs, supporting prioritization discussions, and coordinating follow-up activities with business and technology partners.

Business and Solution Analysis

Assess existing processes, systems, and technologies to identify business needs, capability gaps, dependencies, and opportunities for reuse, integration, automation, or data-enabled improvement.

Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions to gather requirements, clarify stakeholder priorities, map current- and future-state workflows, and evaluate potential solution options.

Apply foundational knowledge of enterprise applications, digital technologies, automation, AI-enabled capabilities, and data concepts to support business capability discussions and solution evaluation.

Document business requirements, process flows, data needs, feasibility considerations, expected benefits, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder impacts for business and delivery teams.

Support requirements validation, test scenario development, user acceptance testing, implementation readiness, and related documentation.

Use appropriate tools to organize and analyze information, maintain project and requirements documentation, and prepare clear updates and findings for stakeholders.

Delivery and Implementation Support

Develop and manage project and workstream status and prepare updates on progress, risks, dependencies, costs, and expected benefits for relevant stakeholders.

Contribute to initiatives and workstreams by completing assigned activities, tracking actions and dependencies, and helping ensure alignment with business priorities.

Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.

Collaboration and Continuous Learning

Build and maintain effective working relationships across diverse business and technical groups, supporting the resolution of issues, dependencies, and conflicting needs and escalating decisions as appropriate.

Build knowledge of business analysis practices, technology trends, AI-enabled capabilities, data concepts, relevant industry practices, and applicable AbbVie policies and procedures.

Contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture that encourages innovation, learning, and open communication.

Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor’s Degree plus 6 years of experience; Master’s Degree plus 5 years’ experience; or PhD plus 0 years’ experience in business analysis, project management, technology consulting, or a related field.

How we calculate "similar"

No black box, no LLM guesswork: a deterministic score built from four normalized attributes. Here's this role's own peer group at different match levels, so you can see the mechanism, not just the result.

Every comparison starts from the same 100-point budget: 25 for working in the same function, 40 for the same therapeutic area, 20 for the same or adjacent seniority, 15 for the same country. A dimension we can't confirm on both sides contributes nothing, never a guess, never a free pass.

Unmatched or unknown dimensions score exactly the same: 0 points, never a partial guess. A role we know almost nothing about beyond its function bottoms out at 25%; it never inflates to 100% just because there's little to compare against. Seniority uses a defined ladder (Associate → Manager → Associate Director → Senior → Principal → Director → Senior Director → Executive/VP) so "Director" and "Senior Director" count as adjacent, but "Director" and "Executive/VP" do not.
