Job Description
Area Manager is responsible for driving the sales operations plan and for achieving agreed sales and broader performance targets for their part of the Biosimilar & Hospital organization, ensuring Sandoz compliance, policies and procedures. This role develops an effective sales team through training and coaching or management of key commercial programs.
Your Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Achieve own and team’s agreed sales, productivity and performance targets.
Create and executes business plans to drive this achievement and be responsible for brands’ strategic and tactical planning, in line with company strategy and standards.
Works independently to maintain existing stakeholders and to develop new business opportunities.
Manages and optimizes effective allocation of resources to deliver required business results as well as manage area sales and expense budgets.
Serves as a communication bridge from Senior Management to Product Specialists.
Lead a high-performing team of Product Specialists: hire train and develop them as necessary also providing coaching and feedback to the team.
Manage relationships with key accounts’ decision makers, key opinion leaders, patient associations and other colleagues across business functions to achieve desired results.
Complete all reporting and administrative requirements in a timely and accurate manner.
What you’ll bring to the role:
Essential Requirements:
Italian and English fluent
Previous experience in brands’ strategic and tactical planning
Able to understand the dynamics of Pharmaceutical industry
Goal oriented and highly effective communication skills.
Preferred: experience within Biosimilar sector, hospital and tender system
Preferred: previous experience as Area Manager, People Manager or similar role

Total Base Pay Range: €52,400.00 - €97,400.00
