Sr. Production Planner – O'Hara, PA
PURPOSE
The Sr. Production Planner is r esponsible for creating and managing production schedules to meet demand while optimizing resource utilization. This position involves analyzing production capacity, forecasting demand, and coordinating with manufacturing teams to ensure timely delivery of products. Monitors inventory levels and adjusts plans as necessary to minimize disruptions.
You are also responsible for developing and managing production schedules to ensure the efficient use of resources and timely delivery of products. This role involves coordinating with various departments, analyzing production data, and optimizing processes to meet production goals while minimizing costs.
This position does not offer visa sponsorship.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and maintain production schedules based on demand forecasts, inventory levels, and capacity constraints;
Optimize resource allocation, including labor, equipment, and materials, to maximize efficiency;
Collaborate with procurement and inventory management teams to ensure the availability of raw materials and components;
Analyze production data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement;
Prepare reports on production performance, efficiency, and inventory levels for management review;
Work closely with production, quality control, and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of products up and down the value chain;
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to align production plans with business objectives;
Responsible for and maintains SAP planning parameters and master data.
WHO YOU ARE
Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
BA/BS required in related field (Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Mathematics, Business, Information Technology);
3+ years of total experience including minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Product Supply discipline;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with various departments and stakeholders effectively;
Ability to build relationships and influence other members of the organization to help achieve goals and increase performance;
Demonstrated problem solving abilities and analytical skills;
Manages complexity in production planning process at 24/7 manufacturing site;
Strong attention to detail and time management skills to ensure timely delivery of deliverables;
Experience with Microsoft Office tools;
Experience with SAP and MRP systems.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in PowerBI and analytics tools;
Familiarity with Product Supply System (PSS) and other lean manufacturing principles and practices;
Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $86,320.00 to $129,980.00. Additional compensation may include a bonus or incentive compensation (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc..
This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant’s location, market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
