Role
The Software Support Engineer's primary mission is to resolve IT problems as closely as possible to the client. Proactive and methodical, their goal is to identify malfunctions and quickly implement solutions.
Our techno today are WPF/C++/C# /WCF with DotNet and we will go on C#/DotCore (or NetCore) with gRpc/Rust maybe to replace DotNet/WCF in the future.
Responsibilities
As a SW support engineer, your responsibility will be around technical stuff mosly independently during field interventions. The list of responsibilities and tasks required will be as follows :
To be readily available to client companies in case of IT problems.
To be able to diagnose and resolve issues as quickly as possible. The Software Support Engineer then assists with the implementation of the solution at the client's site.
To document malfunctions and communicate with development teams to improve the product as needed.
To implement certain fixes and install them directly at the client's site.
To communicate with development teams to synchronize the software platform.
To train users on how to use new features.
Environment
As a true technical support for the client, the Software Support Engineer works in a dynamic and stressful environment. They must be able to manage their stress while remaining responsive to client requests. Methodical, organized, and rigorous, the role of a software support engineer requires strong analytical skills and excellent listening abilities.
Requierement
Experience in industries software environment.
Experience with legacy code and also retro engineering software skill.
Fluency in English is essential for understanding and accessing technical documentation when troubleshooting and work in APAC region
Chinese speaking mandatory.
Technical Skills
Training and/or experience in industrial computing.
Good understanding of MutliThreading application
Object-oriented programming languages such as C++/C# (ideally)/Java.
Proficiency with Git.
