Independently identifies reliability risks and implements solutions to increase equipment uptime and efficiency of electrical/mechanical systems such as high-speed filling/packaging lines, fermentation, bioreactor, autoclaves, clean utilities, clean room HVAC, power plant/utilities, automation, freeze dryers, etc.
Duties & Responsibilities
Fulfill work order information in SAP on a timely
basis and confirm status. Provide oversight to verify
and close WO. Originate modification in SAP (BOM,
instructions).
Develop and maintain detailed training program for the
team to develop team knowledge in the maintenance and operations field and other areas of the plant.
Performs advanced trouble shooting and detailed
failure analysis to determine root cause. Gives clear
instructions to less knowledgeable technicians.
Provide status reports regarding the execution of
Preventative Maintenance activities. Improve the
Preventative Maintenance program.
Coordinates the work of outside contractors performing
advanced projects or supplementing additional work
force.
Leads cross-functional equipment improvement teams to improve equipment performance and reliability.
Analyze production data, taking appropriate actions
for continuous improvement.
Respond to all maintenance emergencies and anticipate them proactively.
Innovates and sets technical direction for others.
Support training of production & maintenance personnel related to advanced operations and care of electro-
mechanical equipment.
Provide supervisory relief and coverage, able to
replace temporarily a team leader.
Requirements
High School Diploma +10 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a pharmaceutical industry.
Associate degree/Technical Diploma (relevant field of study) +6 years’ experience in
a manufacturing environment, preferably in a pharmaceutical industry.
Bachelor’s degree (relevant field of study) +4 year experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a regulated industry
Knowledge of and adherence to EHS requirements
