Job location: HyderabadThis role will be a part of Enterprise Data Quality Management capability within Enterprise Data Management initiatives by enabling data quality processes, governance, metrics, and tools across the organization (data domains). The role requires strong experience in overall data management especially data quality and governance including data quality tooling.
Major AccountabilitiesEnable Data Quality Management processes across domains using enterprise tools and technology.Support activities for adoption of enterprise data quality tools and solutions in collaboration with Data & Analytics Platform.Independently plan and carry out discussions with Enterprise Data Owners and domain DQ teams for any topics related to framework, processes, methodologies and support data domains for adoption.Support domains teams for capturing prioritized DQ use cases, critical data elements, data quality rules, thresholds, business impact, remediation actions, and proactive quality processes.Design data quality metrics for Enterprise DQ reporting and drive stakeholder action for regular DQ reporting. Regular data analysis and reconciliation of domain data shared for metrics generation to ensure accurate data quality metrics is reported at Enterprise level.Publish DQ reports to senior leadership and stakeholders to provide clear visibility & transparency of enterprise DQ health. Support the definition of Data Quality Governance processes, including review and audit management.Provide guidance to the data domains during DCAM assessment to ensure compliance regarding submission of appropriate data quality artefacts as evidencesProvide guidance to data domains on importance of data remediation processes and its implications on overall data quality performanceMinimum RequirementsOverall 10+ years of experience in Data Quality Management with at least 5-6 years in Pharma or Healthcare industry.Strong understanding of data quality management processes like data profiling, rules creation, metrics, remediation, monitoring, and measurement along with hands on experience in implementation of data quality processes on DQ tools.Knowledge of Data Governance processes and their alignment with data quality.Experience with data quality tools like Ataccama, Informatica, Collibra etc.Strong analytical, statistical, research and communication skills.Ability to engage and influence stakeholders across a global, matrixed organization.Why Novartis?Our purpose is to reimagine medicine to improve and extend people’s lives and our vision is to become the most valued and trusted medicines company in the world.
