Your Role:

Environment, Health, Safety 

The Production engineer is accountable for ensuring compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the production environment.

Zero EHS incidents and continuous improvement on all safety and EHS matters. All EHS risks are correctly identified, evaluated, and corrected.

Conduct safety assessments and implement safety measures as needed.

Investigate and report any accidents or safety incidents.

Quality and compliance

The Production Engineer is accountable for developing and implementing quality control procedures to ensure products meet industry standards and customer specifications:

A culture and expectation of zero quality defects. All production related quality issues are correctly identified, evaluated, and corrected.

Collaborate with quality assurance teams to address and resolve quality issues.

Monitor and enforce quality control measures to ensure products meet specified standards.

Production Optimization

Production Engineer partners with the Process Engineering, and other production team to:

Ensure all team members follow our principles to prioritize safety and quality above all.

Plan and schedule plant startup and annual shutdowns.

Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall production output.

Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

Identify opportunities to reduce costs in production processes without compromising quality.

Implement cost-effective measures and monitor budget adherence.

Trouble shooting

Investigate and troubleshoot production issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.

Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to address technical challenges.

Who You Are:

Edu c a t i o n:                                                          

Bachelor’s degree or above in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or Material Science preferred.

W o r k in g Experience:

At least 10 years of experience in production, with commissioning experience preferred.

Technical & Professional Knowledge:

Prefer candidates from chemical manufacturing background and quality expectations. Familiar with hazardous material handling and operations, including safety procedures.

Experience with distillation column operations and DCS /PLC control is required.

Plan and execute pre-startup checks for the new plant, and develop and optimize operating procedures.

High energy, creative, passionate, and self-motivated, someone who has a strong desire to succeed.

Good written and verbal communication skills in both native language and business English.
