NBE DMPK Lead (all genders), limited for 2 years
About this opportunity
Your Role:
At the intersection of scientific innovation and patient impact, this role places you at the heart of next-generation biotherapeutic development. As the NBE DMPK Lead, you will serve as the authoritative scientific expert for drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics across a portfolio of novel biological entities, including ADCs, AOCs, and multispecific biologics. You will define the DMPK strategy for each molecule, integrating PK, immunogenicity, and bioanalytical approaches to de-risk clinical development and drive health authority submissions. Applying Modeling and Simulation, you will generate data-driven insights to inform molecular design and translate preclinical findings into human dose predictions. Embedded in cross-functional project teams, you will guide peers and senior stakeholders, shaping the scientific direction of your projects.
This position is limited for two years.
Who You Are:
You hold a degree or equivalent qualification in Pharmacokinetics, Pharmaceutical or Biotechnological Sciences, Biomedical or Chemical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related biological or chemical discipline; a doctoral degree with relevant industry experience is typical for this level.
You bring substantial professional experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, with deep expertise in PK/PD concepts across drug discovery and development, including translational sciences and regulatory requirements for biotherapeutics such as ADCs, AOCs, and multispecific biologics.
You have hands-on experience with quantitative modeling approaches, including M&S tools, population PK software, QSP platforms, or programming environments such as Python or R; experience with AI/ML applications in drug development is a strong advantage.
You possess a solid understanding of adjacent disciplines, including pharmacology, toxicology, nonclinical safety, drug design, and bioanalytics, and can integrate insights across these areas to guide biotherapeutic engineering and optimization.
You communicate complex scientific concepts clearly and confidently to diverse audiences, including cross-functional project teams and senior stakeholders, and are comfortable influencing decisions without direct authority.
You are fluent in written and spoken English; proficiency in German or Italian is an advantage.
You bring strong organizational skills, intercultural awareness, and the ability to manage multiple project commitments with a high degree of autonomy.

How we calculate "similar"
No black box, no LLM guesswork: a deterministic score built from four normalized attributes. Here's this role's own peer group at different match levels, so you can see the mechanism, not just the result.
Every comparison starts from the same 100-point budget: 25 for working in the same function, 40 for the same therapeutic area, 20 for the same or adjacent seniority, 15 for the same country. A dimension we can't confirm on both sides contributes nothing, never a guess, never a free pass.
0 points, never a partial guess. A role we know almost nothing about beyond its function bottoms out at 25%; it never inflates to 100% just because there's little to compare against. Seniority uses a defined ladder (Associate → Manager → Associate Director → Senior → Principal → Director → Senior Director → Executive/VP) so "Director" and "Senior Director" count as adjacent, but "Director" and "Executive/VP" do not.
