The Position

The Global Digital Hub growing business line within Roche Services & Solutions Center. Our main purpose is to strengthen the digital capabilities of Roche globally by supporting central initiatives with Social Media Management, Brand Support, Digital Publishing Services, Marketing Automation, Content Creation, and Creative Design.

As a Medical Writer, you will support the growing medical writing team within Roche Services & Solution Centre in developing medical writing & digital content solutions for our business partners. You will be part of formulating and identifying current and future content needs and support different content creation initiatives. In addition, you will work with senior medical writers and stakeholders to ensure the effective deployment of resources and tools to support and ensure that writing activities are conducted efficiently, cost-effectively, and in accordance with the business needs. The medical copy and content team within the Global Digital Hub operates under the Content Creation Chapter. This specialized team focuses on generating commercial content intended for various digital formats (emails, videos, banners, infographics, websites etc.). Their work plays a crucial role in supporting the communication strategies developed by Roche's global and local business teams.

You will be :

As a Medical Writer, you will contribute to the growing medical writing team within the Roche Services & Solutions Center. You will develop medical writing and digital content solutions across various therapeutic areas and play an integral role in business development and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Create and edit medical content for various digital channels and platforms, including patient information, educational materials for healthcare professionals (slides, posters, speaker briefs, and presentations for conferences), newsletters, medical reports, study summaries, and materials for public relations.   May research, write, and edit pre-clinical and/or clinical reports, summarizing data from studies.

Assist in the development of formats and guidelines for clinical documentation, prepare scientific manuscripts, abstracts, and posters.   Manage multiple concurrent projects across therapeutic areas, ensuring timely delivery. Ensure content complies with regulatory guidelines and Roche best practices.

Monitor and manage workload, anticipate capacity issues, and provide solutions.   Ensure projects meet deadlines and maintain scientific accuracy.   Prepare content for LMR approval in VVPM, including referencing.

Collaborate with the Creative Artworker to develop content.   Contribute creative ideas and suggestions.   Liaise professionally with internal teams, clients, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to obtain comprehensive briefs and responses.

Understand customer business needs to create relevant content.   Engage resources, using both formal and informal networks to achieve goals and work closely with Business Partners. Suggest improvements to service and responsiveness to business partners.

Who you are :

We are looking for dynamic individuals who are highly involved and passionate about medical writing and willing to learn more about building up content strategies. As a Medical Writer you are a person who upholds the highest standards of scientific accuracy, quality and compliance. Further requirements:

Degree in medical sciences or a related field.   2-4 years of experience in a similar role.   Native-level proficiency in written and spoken English; additional languages are an advantage.

Excellent attention to detail, consistency, clarity, and scientific rigor. Customer-service mentality and can-do attitude.   Proficiency with standard IT applications, preferably including the Google suite.

Accountable, focused, and precise attitude.   Continuous improvement and growth mindset.   Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and prioritize tasks.

Strong stakeholder management and customer-centric skills. Effective time management and communication skills, both written and verbal.

Passionate about learning new technologies.   Strong interpersonal skills to work as part of a team and engage with leaders.
