Your Role
In this pivotal role, you will serve as the therapeutic area expert driving medical affairs strategy and execution across Brazil. You will co-lead brand and launch teams, shaping local therapeutic area strategies and ensuring that medical activities are aligned with both local and global objectives. By owning the definition, tracking, and monitoring of key performance indicators, you will consolidate field insights and translate them into actionable intelligence that informs strategic decision-making across the organization.
You will lead the development of medical materials, oversee scientific and clinical accuracy for assigned products, and deliver continuous medical education to internal teams. You will design and execute scientific interaction plans for key thought leaders, map the treatment landscape for new indications, and take ownership of the medical budget for your therapeutic area. Operationally, you will champion best practices and ensure full compliance with relevant training requirements and standard operating procedures.
In the area of data generation and stakeholder engagement, you will lead and support local medical studies, coordinate with clinical development and operations teams, and drive the local publication process in alignment with regional and global plans. You will represent the organization at medical education events, build meaningful relationships with healthcare professionals and external experts, and serve as the primary country interface for regional and global medical affairs teams.
Who You Are
You hold a degree in medicine, pharmacy, life sciences, or a related field, or bring equivalent professional experience in a medical affairs or clinical role within the healthcare industry.
You bring proven experience in medical affairs, including therapeutic area expertise, scientific communication, and stakeholder engagement with healthcare professionals and key thought leaders.
You demonstrate advanced knowledge of evidence generation, including the ability to critically evaluate scientific publications and support the design and management of local clinical studies.
You communicate scientific content with confidence and clarity, with the ability to present, facilitate, and engage in high-level scientific exchange at a master level.
You are fluent in English (reading, comprehension, and communication) and are comfortable operating in a global, cross-functional environment.
You bring strong leadership capabilities, including accountability, adaptability, situational awareness, and the ability to coach and develop others.
You are skilled at building and maintaining collaborative relationships with both internal and external stakeholders across multiple channels and functions.
You are experienced in operating within regulatory frameworks and using digital tools and technologies effectively to support medical affairs activities.
