Job Summary

The Medical Content Delivery Lead is responsible for driving excellence in medical content delivery across priority therapeutic areas, ensuring the development of high-quality, scientifically rigorous, and impactful content solutions that support business objectives and customer engagement.

This role requires outstanding expertise in medical content development, scientific storytelling, and stakeholder collaboration, with the ability to translate complex medical, product, and clinical evidence into compelling medical slide presentations and scientific communication materials.

Working closely with Business Units, Medical Review teams, the Medical Content Delivery Lead will play a pivotal role in advancing content excellence and building a scalable, future-ready content delivery model.

Responsibilities

Medical Content Leadership & Delivery Excellence:Lead the delivery of medical content across multiple therapeutic areas, ensuring scientific accuracy, strategic alignment, and high-quality execution. Translate complex medical and clinical evidence into clear, compelling, and audience-centric scientific communication materials. Provide guidance on content architecture, storyline development, message prioritization, and presentation effectiveness. Establish and continuously enhance medical content standards, frameworks, and best practices.

Team Enablement & Capability Building:Coach and develop Medical Content Strategists and editors, elevating content quality and delivery capabilities across therapeutic areas. Foster a culture of scientific excellence, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement. Drive capability-building initiatives in medical storytelling, slide development, scientific communication, and AI-enabled content creation. Support talent development and succession planning within the Medical Content Delivery team.

Content Quality & Delivery Management:Oversee content quality, consistency, and compliance throughout the content lifecycle. Develop scalable delivery models, workflows, templates, and quality standards to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Monitor delivery performance and identify opportunities to enhance quality, speed, and stakeholder satisfaction. Ensure all deliverables align with internal governance requirements and scientific standards.

Cross-functional Leadership:Partner closely with Business Units, Medical Review teams to align on content priorities and business needs. Act as the primary content partner for key stakeholders, facilitating effective communication and decision-making. Lead the coordination of complex projects, balancing priorities, resources, timelines, and stakeholder expectations. Drive collaboration across functions to ensure seamless and high-quality content delivery.

Education and Experience:

Master's degree or above in Medicine, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or other healthcare-related disciplines.

8–10 years of experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, medical communications, scientific content, or related fields.

Demonstrated expertise in developing high-quality medical slide presentations and scientific communication materials.

Strong experience across multiple therapeutic areas and stakeholder groups.

Experience leading content teams, mentoring talent, and driving capability development.

Proven track record of delivering complex content initiatives in a highly matrixed environment.

Technical Skills Requirements:

Exceptional medical content development and scientific communication capabilities.

Deep understanding of medical storytelling, slide strategy, and content structuring.

Strong ability to synthesize complex scientific information into impactful communication solutions.

Proven excellence in developing audience-centric medical content.

Strong team leadership, coaching, and talent development capabilities.
