Medical Advisors drive the development & execution of the country Medical Affairs strategic plans, develop integrated evidence plans, and demonstrate compound and disease area medical expertise.
Key Responsibilities: Driving the local Medical Affairs strategic plans, aligned with ONE IP and global medical franchises strategy, and contributes to the formulation of local TPOs. Leading early to identify strategic drivers, elaborates patient journey, and map and segment broader set of stakeholders. Capturing insights and identifies opportunities for joint value creation and engages with the key scientific partners in the healthcare systems to co-design strategies and studies. Providing key medical expertise and leadership on disease areas, pipeline programs, products to internal and external stakeholders and partners throughout the life of the product(s) Representing country needs in co-developing integrated evidence plans and ensuring execution of these plans beginning and throughout the lifecycle in partnership with Global Drug Development (GDD), functional partners, healthcare systems, patients and other external stakeholders. Identifying Real World Evidence (RWE) needs and utilizes implementation science and other innovative methodologies, Leading the Post Trial Access (PTA) and Managed Access Programs (MAP) at local level, evaluates Investigator-Initiated research studies and Trials (IITs) and Research Collaborations (RC) for scientific soundness and alignment. Promote and adhere to Ethics and Compliance Professional Practices Policy (P3). Reporting of technical complaints / adverse events / special case scenarios related to Novartis products within 24 hours of receipt -Distribution of marketing samples (where applicable) Essential Requirements: Must meet the requirements for major, academic background and professional qualifications as specified in the filing regulations MD, PharmD., pharmacist, PhD, Master above degree in medical or other life sciences Languages: Chinese and English Medical Science and Disease Area Knowledge Strategic& Enterprise Mindset Stakeholder Engagement& Experience Healthcare systems& partnerships Integrated Evidence Generation Joint Value Creation& Collaboration
