The Position
Affiliate: Roche Diagnostics Korea
Division: Disease Management Solutions
Work location: Seoul, South Korea
- Develop and implement medical strategies and tactics
- Apply agile way of working within MSA and with cross functional teams to accomplish aligned common goals.
- Drive scientific excellence of MSA team with up-to-date medical knowledge about disease diagnosis and disease management
- Build strategic relationships with HCPs including medical societies
- Responsible for quality and compliance of medical activities
A. Medical and Clinical Expertise to develop and implement medical strategy
- Equip with up-to-date scientific knowledge to provide training (internally and externally) and guide MSA team for scientific engagement.
- Leads MSA team to provide medical insights for Roche products and related diseases.
- Develop and implement medical strategies in alignment with overall business directions
B. Communication & collaboration
- Deliver scientific data and medical messages internally and externally.
- Ensure clear and agile communication with cross functional teams to maximize collaboration
- Represent local MSA team in APAC and global medical network
C. Evidence generation
- Provide scientific view and insights to identify and fill medical unmet needs
- Understand end to end process of IIS and support MSA team in managing studies based on standard operating procedures in a compliant and ethical way
- Create medical value through IIS and research collaboration
D. Team management
- As a people leader, lead the MSA team with VACC leadership and manage performance
- Budget planning and resource management
- Responsible for team growth and capability building
E. KOL engagement and medical society partnership
- Knowledge exchange and insight gathering with KOLs
- Partner with medical societies to deliver medical value and improve patient outcome
- Proactively work with KOLs and medical societies to deliver medical value and implement medical strategy
- Bachelor’s degree above, in medical degree, pharmacy, nurse, science or relevant field
- +10yr of relevant working experience in healthcare industry
- Clinical research, Medical Affairs related experience preferred
