Job Description:
Location: Beijing
Department: IIACO – SPOE - CoE (Strategy, Policy & Operation Excellence - Center of Excellence)
Reports to: Associate Director of Market Access and Pricing
The Manager, Pricing and Access Strategy will be responsible for facilitating optimal access and pricing strategies through in-depth policy analysis, market insights, and data-driven insight generation.
Key Responsibilities:
Pricing and Access Assessment: Support in BD and Early Pipeline portfolios’ strategy assessment.
Access Policy Analysis: Proactively track and clearly interpret access policies, including reimbursement, pricing, tendering, registration etc.;
Capability Building: Regularly provide internal training on policy interpretation and dynamics for capability building;
Data Management and Snythesis: Establish and maintain a pricing and access database, including policy documents, portfolio value proposition archives, domestic and IRP collections, competitor intelligence, etc.;
Market Intelligence and Insight Generation: Facilitate data collection and conduct analysis such as competitive landscape, business impact projection, etc. Integrate policy interpretation into pricing and access assumptions;
Key Cycle Planning Support: Support key cycle pricing planning and factbook generation.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree or above in Pharmacy, Medicine, Public Health, Health Economics, Life Sciences, or a related field.
Experience:
5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical market access, health economics, or HEOR within the biopharmaceutical industry or consulting; direct experience with China NRDL and reimbursement processes is highly preferred;
Sophisticated communication skills with cross-functional teams.
Technical Skills:
In-depth understanding of China's healthcare policy framework, drug pricing and tendering mechanisms;
Strong logical thinking, with the ability to translate complex information into clear strategic recommendations and business impact;
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and storytelling.
