APAC Business Domain Solution team is looking for an experienced Business Analyst to be based in our Shanghai Office, China.
In this role, you will act as a key bridge between our business stakeholders and the IT delivery team, including external vendors. You will be responsible for translating complex business requirements into effective technical solutions, managing system implementation projects, and ensuring successful delivery across our diverse business units, including Life Sciences, Electronics, and Healthcare.
You should be a proactive communicator with a strong understanding of enterprise architecture, data & AI, system integration, the WeChat/WeCom ecosystem, and China-specific technology stacks, particularly within the Sales & Marketing domain.
Key Responsibilities:
Requirement Elicitation & Analysis: Collaborate closely with Sales & Marketing business units to identify pain points, gather requirements, and translate them into clear functional specifications and IT solutions.
Project Management & Delivery: Lead the full lifecycle of IT system implementation projects, ensuring delivery is on time, within scope, and meets quality standards.
Solution Design: Design end-to-end solutions that integrate with the existing enterprise architecture, specifically focusing on the WeChat ecosystem (Official Accounts, Mini Programs) and internal enterprise applications.
Data & AI Integration: Work with data architects and developers to implement data-driven solutions. Utilize your understanding of Data and AI to propose innovative features (e.g., customer insights, automation) that add value to the business.
Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact between business users and technical teams, managing expectations and facilitating smooth communication in a multi-cultural environment (German HQ context).
Testing & Rollout: Oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT), manage change management activities, and support the rollout of new systems.
Requirements: -
Proven experience as a Business Analyst or IT Project Manager, with a focus on system implementation and project delivery.
Strong background in System Implementation: Experience in managing the delivery of IT projects from requirement gathering to go-live.
Actively service delivery and trouble shooting skills, fast learning is MUST
Enterprise Application Expertise: Deep understanding of enterprise application architecture and how different systems (e.g., WeChat ecosystem, CRM, ERP) integrate with backend systems.
Data & AI Literacy: Good understanding of data structures, analytics, and AI capabilities (LLMs, RAG) to effectively communicate with technical teams and propose solutions.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese. Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical business stakeholders clearly.
Teamwork: Solid team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills with internal and external team
Methodology: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience using tools like JIRA/Confluence.
Experience within the profession, 6+ years
Education Minimum Requirement:
B.S. degree is required. Engineering, Information Management/Compute Science or related area is preferred.
Desired Experience & Skills (Plus):
Experience working in an MNC or international matrix organization.
Hands-on experience with Low-code/No-code platforms or AI Agent configuration (e.g., Dify, Coze).
Familiarity with the WeChat ecosystem (Mini Programs, Enterprise WeChat) is a strong plus.
Knowledge of CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Veeva and etc), Marketing Automation tools, or other China-specific technology stacks
Understanding of Enterprise Architecture patterns and API integration concepts.
Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-centric mindset.
Ability to travel occasionally if project needs arise (though based in Shanghai).
