Our Team
In a nutshell, a Platform team is a team that creates the foundational layers and core building blocks of a company's products.
Our customers are the Sanofi Software engineering teams. As such, we reduce their Cognitive Load and help them Improve Development Speed by providing them with Plug n Play Solutions that enable them to efficiently and securely build business features.
More concretely a platform can be at different levels of granularity:
CI configs and rules to be used by other teams
IaC, tooling to deploy and monitor resources in the Cloud
Development environment, tools and shared libraries
Help and can define global system architecture/security
Core abstractions (data model, business modeling) API/SDKs
About the job
This role goes beyond delivery management. You will shape strategy , drive discovery , and ensure our platform creates measurable impact for users, engineering teams, and the business.
As a Product Owner for the Platform team, you will lead the initiatives that reduce friction in the SDLC of the Engineering teams in Sanofi.

Own the Problem, Not Just the Backlog:
Define and frame product problems with stakeholders, users and developers
Frame opportunities using qualitative and quantitative insights, not assumptions or stakeholder pressure
Communicate in terms of problems to solve and outcomes to achieve, rather than predefined solutions to implement
Build and prioritise a Platform roadmap grounded in measurable outcomes, customer impact and strategic value, not urgency or opinion
Measure and Learn:
Define clear, measurable outcomes tied to user behaviour, product value, and platform adoption
Establish and monitor North Star metrics and leading indicators to guide decision-making and iteration
Use data to continuously evaluate product-market fit and user experience
Foster a culture of experimentation, evidence-based decisions, and continuous learning
Engage & Align Stakeholders:
Co-create and continuously refine product strategy in partnership with senior stakeholders and leadership
Use storytelling to align and rally people around problems and outcomes
Champion Developer Experience as a strategic priority
Drive adoption through strong stakeholder engagement and internal advocacy
Define adoption KPIs (usage, NPS, reduction in shadow IT, cycle time improvements, etc.)
Quantify customer (developer) satisfaction
Act as the strategic bridge between platform engineering team and platform users (developers, squads, pods)
Build Shared Understanding:
Lead collaborative discovery practices to build shared mental models (ex: story mapping, example mapping, 3 Amigos, design sessions)
Design and run experiments to validate hypotheses before committing engineering investment
Align teams and stakeholders around the "why" before jumping to "how"
Embed measurement as a key functionality in every feature
Ensure work is structured around measurable value creation rather than feature output or ticket volume
About you
Experience:
Proven experience as a Senior Product Owner / Product Manager in complex, regulated environments
Strong discovery mindset and evidence-based decision-making
Ability to influence diverse stakeholders, including executive audiences and align cross-functional teams
Experience working with Platform products and developer-facing services (DevOps, CI/CD, cloud, infrastructure enablement, APIs, microservices, Infrastructure as Code, developer tooling)
Proven track record driving platform adoption at scale
Strategic thinker who stays hands-on with teams
Skilled at balancing between delivery and discovery, between short-term needs and long-term vision
Nice to have: experience in life sciences, healthcare, or biotech
Languages:
Fluent in English as we are an international team!
Education:
Nice to have: Advanced Product Owner certifications: PSPO-II, PSPBM, PAL-EBM or equivalent

The salary range for this position is :€76,000.00 - €101,333 Final compensation will be determined based on demonstrated experience, skills, location, and other relevant factors. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs.
