Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is searching for a Tender Excellence Manager to join our Market Access Team based in Milan.
The position of Tender Excellence Manager at Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is a strategic role that requires a combination of leadership, data-driven decision-making, and expertise in public procurement processes within the pharmaceutical industry.
This role is pivotal in ensuring successful tender submissions, maintaining compliance, and fostering a high-performing team aligned with Johnson & Johnson’s values and strategic objectives.
Position Summary:
Oversee and coordinate the end-to-end tender process.
Utilize a data-driven approach.
Collaborate closely with local and regional functions.
Responsibilities:
Lead a team of contributors, managing performance effectively.
Monitor tender portals for opportunities and ensure timely submissions.
Maintain accurate documentation.
Assess team performance for continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with regulations and J&J standards.
Incorporate J&J Credo and Leadership Imperatives into team goals and decisions.
Principal Relationships:
Reports to the HTA & Value Operation Head.
Main internal interfaces: Market Access, Commercial, Legal, Finance.
External interfaces: Public procurement offices, experts, vendors.
Education & Experience Requirements:
Degree in Law, Economics, or related fields.
Fluent in Italian and English; additional languages are a plus.
Proven expertise in pharmaceutical public procurement procedures.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant software.
Minimum of 3-5+ years in a similar role or equivalent.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is:
€52,000.00 - €86,365.00

In addition to base pay, we offer the following benefits*: an annual bonus with set target (% of pay) depending on pay grade / location, where the actual amount is based on the employees’ and companies’ performance of the previous calendar year, or sales commissions.
