The Position

At Roche RDT Diagnostics, we believe every patient deserves the best possible treatment. To

Solution Design - Translate complex business requirements into scalable, secure, and compliant cloud-based architectures (SaaS/PaaS)

Custom Built Solution Leadership - Oversee design and implementation of custom solutions, i.e., RDT DIA PPM Portal, ROMA, DP360, etc.

Lifecycle Management - Oversee the evolution of the PPM toolset (e.g., Planisware, Jira, or custom solutions) to ensure they remain "fit-for-purpose"

Data Governance - Ensure the integrity and flow of R&D data across the ecosystem to provide a "single source of truth" for executive decision-making

Solution Strategy - Define the end-to-end technical vision for the RDT DIA R&D PPM landscape, ensuring seamless integration between financial planning, resource management, and stage-gate execution

Who You Are

You are a strategic thinker who thrives at the intersection of DIA PPM business processes, modern PPM software, and data engineering. You understand that in Diagnostics, "speed to market" is a healthcare imperative.

Communication - Ability to explain complex technical trade-offs to non-technical senior leadership

Agile Mindset - Comfort working within SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) or similar agile methodologies

Experience - 5+ years of experience configuring PPM solutions with a focus on Planisware

Experience - 7+ years in Solution Design, with a specific focus on Portfolio and Project Management (PPM) or Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems

Domain Knowledge - Previous experience in Life Sciences, Diagnostics, or Pharmaceuticals is highly preferred. Familiarity with GxP and CSV (Computer System Validation) is a major plus

Technical Stack - Experience with enterprise PPM tools (e.g., Planisware, Planview, etc.)

Strong understanding of integration patterns (APIs, Data Mesh/Products, and Middleware)

How we calculate "similar"

No black box, no LLM guesswork: a deterministic score built from four normalized attributes. Here's this role's own peer group at different match levels, so you can see the mechanism, not just the result.

Every comparison starts from the same 100-point budget: 25 for working in the same function, 40 for the same therapeutic area, 20 for the same or adjacent seniority, 15 for the same country. A dimension we can't confirm on both sides contributes nothing, never a guess, never a free pass.

Unmatched or unknown dimensions score exactly the same: 0 points, never a partial guess. A role we know almost nothing about beyond its function bottoms out at 25%; it never inflates to 100% just because there's little to compare against. Seniority uses a defined ladder (Associate → Manager → Associate Director → Senior → Principal → Director → Senior Director → Executive/VP) so "Director" and "Senior Director" count as adjacent, but "Director" and "Executive/VP" do not.
