Position Overview
The Sanofi Technical Coordination Lead (TCL) for Sanofi is the central technical authority within an engineering project, responsible for ensuring consistency, integration, and quality between engineering disciplines and Quality, HSE, Operations & maintenance.
This position acts as the interface between the Engineering contractor and Sanofi from project leader, building and facilities leader and Sanofi Process Leader and their teams and Quality, HSE, Operations & maintenance people and stakeholders.
Main responsibilities:
Define and enforce 3D modeling governance, including naming conventions, Level of Development (LOD) requirements, and modeling protocols across all engineering disciplines
Serve as the primary BIM contact for the PMC BIM team (T.EN), acting as the key interface between Sanofi and the Engineering Contractor's BIM Manager to ensure model quality and data integrity
Organize and lead regular clash detection sessions and inter-discipline review (IDR) meetings between Engineering teams, Maintenance, and Operations; identify and resolve technical interfaces and conflicts between disciplines, Quality, HSE, and Operations & Maintenance
Schedule and facilitate formal 3D model review milestones (30%, 60%, 90% IFC) with all disciplines, including HSE, Operations & Maintenance
Ensure full discipline model federation, verifying that all models (piping, structure, equipment, HVAC, electrical trays) are integrated, up to date, and ready for presentation to HSE, Operations & Maintenance teams
Manage and track 3D model-related issues, maintaining the interface register and monitoring resolution of open technical coordination points raised by Sanofi
Oversee As-Built model alignment, ensuring the 3D model is continuously updated to reflect construction changes and serves as the basis for as-built documentation
Act as the primary technical point of contact for HSE, Quality, Maintenance, and Operations stakeholders regarding all BIM requests, questions, and technical coordination matters
Review and approve key technical deliverables and engineering documents; actively participate in technical deviation management and change requests to ensure alignment across all Sanofi engineering disciplines (civil, structural, mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation, HVAC, etc.) with Maintenance and Operations
About you
Education/Experience: degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related; dedicated BIM/3D model coordination experience; experience in engineering coordination, technical leadership, or project management, preferably with API/biotechnology background
Soft and technical skills: BIM/3D Modeling certification; GMP and Pharmaceutical Engineering knowledge; Demonstrated ability to lead inter-discipline review (IDR) meetings and resolve technical conflicts between multiple stakeholders; Strong experience interfacing with HSE, Quality, Operations, and Maintenance teams on technical matters
Languages:fluency in english required, additional languages welcome

The salary range for this position is :€101.040,00 - €134.720 Final compensation will be determined based on demonstrated experience, skills, location, and other relevant factors. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs.
