The Position

Job Description / Description of the Area

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Technical Business Analyst with experience in Customer Identity & Access Management (CIAM) to support the delivery and continuous improvement of customer identity services.

The successful candidate will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating business needs into clear requirements and ensuring scalable, secure, and user-centric CIAM solutions. This role combines business analysis, technical understanding, stakeholder engagement, and delivery support in a complex enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis and Requirements Management

Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to customer identity, registration, authentication, consent, profile management, and access journeys.

Translate business needs into functional and technical requirements, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.

Challenge and refine requirements to ensure clarity, feasibility, and business value.

Support prioritization of demand, backlog items, and roadmap initiatives.

Solution Design and Delivery Support

Work closely with architects, engineers, and product teams to shape fit-for-purpose CIAM solutions.

Support design discussions by bringing process, customer journey, and business context.

Ensure requirements are traceable through delivery, testing, and implementation.

Participate in release planning, change activities, and deployment readiness.

Stakeholder Management and Collaboration

Engage with business, security, legal, compliance, digital, and IT stakeholders across multiple functions.

Facilitate workshops, requirement sessions, and decision meetings.

Communicate progress, risks, dependencies, and options clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.

Build alignment across diverse stakeholder groups.

Governance, Risk, and Compliance

Support alignment with privacy and regulatory requirements such as GDPR and related frameworks.

Ensure customer identity processes reflect governance, auditability, and security expectations.

Contribute to control documentation and evidence gathering where required.

Continuous Improvement

Identify pain points, inefficiencies, and opportunities to simplify CIAM processes and customer journeys.

Support KPI tracking, service improvement initiatives, and process optimization.

Stay informed on CIAM trends, identity standards, and digital customer expectations.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Equivalent practical experience is also valued.

Experience

Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar role.

Experience in Identity & Access Management, Customer Identity, digital platforms, or customer-facing systems.

Experience working in enterprise delivery environments with multiple stakeholders.

Technical Skills

Strong understanding of CIAM concepts such as registration, authentication, SSO, MFA, consent, profile lifecycle, and access control.

Familiarity with identity standards such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and SAML.

Ability to interpret APIs, system integrations, data flows, and technical dependencies.

Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio, Miro, or equivalent collaboration platforms.

Familiarity with SAP Customer Data Cloud (SAP CDC) or similar CIAM platforms is an advantage.

Soft Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and facilitation capabilities.

Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.

Structured, proactive, and delivery-oriented mindset.

Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in regulated industries such as healthcare, life sciences, finance, or similar sectors.

Nice to have experience with GxP processes and Computer System Validation (CSV) frameworks.

Nice to have familiarity with ITIL processes and service management practices.

Nice to have hands-on experience working with ServiceNow.

Experience in Agile / Scrum delivery models.

Certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, Agile BA, Scrum, or equivalent are an advantage .
