The Position
We are looking for a Team Lead Engineering Manager to lead our Enterprise Identity Management Reliability Team, supporting a mission-critical SailPoint IIQ platform and transforming how identity services operate at scale in a global, highly regulated environment. This platform sits at the core of our Identity Governance strategy, ensuring secure, seamless access for thousands of users across the organization. In this role, you won’t just keep the lights on, you’ll help us redefine how reliability is built and sustained. You will lead the shift from reactive support to a proactive, automation-driven SRE model, improving performance, scalability, and overall user experience. At its core, this role is about building empowered teams, creating reliable systems, and driving meaningful change in how identity services are delivered at scale.
The Opportunity
Lead, coach, and grow a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Support team members in shaping their career paths while removing roadblocks and maintaining a healthy, sustainable pace
Drive improvements in platform reliability, stability, and performance in a complex, high-volume environment
Identify opportunities to reduce manual work and implement automation to improve efficiency and scalability
Partner closely with Product, Security, Infrastructure, and business teams to deliver reliable and secure identity services
Oversee Managed Service Provider (MSP) performance, ensuring accountability, SLA adherence, and service quality
Bring structure and clarity to operations through better monitoring, incident management, and continuous optimization
Who you are
Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Technology, or a related Engineering field.
5+ years of experience leading or managing engineering or technical teams
Experience working in pharma, biotech, or other regulated industries
Strong experience in Identity & Access Management (SailPoint IIQ is a strong plus)
Strong understanding of identity lifecycle management (Joiner, Mover, Leaver) and Access Governance in regulated and large-scale environments.
Solid understanding of running production systems (monitoring, alerting, incident response, performance tuning)
Experience with tools like Splunk, Datadog, Grafana, or similar observability platforms
Experience managing SailPoint IIQ upgrades, patches, and regression testing
Ability to navigate complexity, manage stakeholders, and drive outcomes in a global environment
Experience working with managed service providers or system integrators
Professional Information Security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) are a plus.
