We are searching for the best talent for our Surgery Marketing Sr. Manager – WC & Bio.
You will be responsible for :
Portfolio Strategy & Growth
Define and lead the multi-year strategic roadmap for the assigned surgical portfolio, translating global priorities into locally relevant growth strategies.
Develop annual and long-range business plans that balance revenue growth, market share expansion, profitability, and customer value creation.
Own portfolio lifecycle management, identifying opportunities for innovation, premiumization, SKU optimization, pricing strategy, and mix enhancement.
Prioritize investments and resources based on market attractiveness, growth opportunities, and return on investment.
Align portfolio priorities with corporate strategy, procedure trends, and evolving customer needs.
Demand Generation & Market Development
Lead demand creation initiatives that drive adoption of advanced technologies and accelerate conversion from standard solutions.
Identify unmet clinical, economic, and operational needs within surgical pathways and translate them into actionable growth opportunities.
Build category leadership through evidence-based marketing, customer education, advocacy programs, and stakeholder engagement.
Increase procedure penetration, share of wallet, customer retention, and utilization across priority accounts.
Serve as the voice of the customer by developing a deep understanding of surgeons, operating room staff, healthcare administrators, and procurement stakeholders.
Clinical Value Proposition, Evidence Generation & Market Access
Develop differentiated value propositions that integrate: Clinical evidence and patient outcomes.
Health economics and reimbursement considerations.
Operating room efficiency.
Process simplification and standardization.
Total cost of care impact.
Lead clinical evidence strategies, including studies, registries, and real-world evidence initiatives that support product differentiation and market expansion.
Partner with Medical Affairs and Market Access teams to build value dossiers and economic models that strengthen adoption and reimbursement positioning.
Translate clinical and economic insights into actionable commercial strategies that improve conversion rates and reduce price sensitivity.
Product Development, Innovation & Launch Excellence
Lead commercialization strategies and launch plans for new products and technologies within the portfolio.
Partner with R&D, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Manufacturing, Clinical Affairs, and Supply Chain teams throughout product development and lifecycle management activities.
Ensure launch readiness through effective planning, evidence generation, customer engagement, and organizational alignment.
Develop launch KPIs, adoption frameworks, and commercialization strategies to accelerate revenue growth and market penetration.
Act as a key representative of the business with regional and global teams, providing customer insights, competitive intelligence, and market feedback to influence innovation roadmaps.
Market Intelligence & Competitive Strategy
Continuously assess market trends, customer dynamics, competitive movements, regulatory developments, and emerging technologies.
Generate actionable insights to identify growth opportunities and anticipate competitive threats.
Monitor portfolio performance, market share evolution, customer behavior, and purchasing trends to support strategic decision-making.
Recommend investment priorities and resource allocation based on data-driven analysis.
Commercial Excellence & Go-to-Market Execution
Partner closely with Sales, Key Account Management, Pricing, Surgical Education, Market Access, and Customer Success teams to maximize portfolio adoption and performance.
Develop commercial enablement programs, sales training curricula, and customer adoption frameworks.
Ensure consistent communication of value propositions across the customer journey.
Contribute to forecasting, pricing strategies, profitability improvement, and overall business performance.
Cross-Functional Leadership & Stakeholder Management
Serve as a strategic leader across the franchise, aligning Commercial, Clinical, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Finance, and Global Marketing teams around common business objectives.
Influence senior internal and external stakeholders to deliver strategic priorities and business commitments.
Lead annual operating plans, business reviews, and strategic planning processes.
Communicate portfolio performance, risks, opportunities, and strategic trade-offs to executive leadership.
People Leadership & Capability Building
Lead, coach, and develop Product Management and Marketing team members while fostering a high-performance and customer-centric culture.
Build organizational capabilities in strategic marketing, product management, clinical value creation, and commercial excellence.
Recruit, develop, and retain top talent while establishing clear performance expectations and measures.
Promote collaboration, accountability, innovation, and continuous development across the organization.
Requirements / Qualifications:
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Life Sciences, Healthcare, or a related field.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in Product Management, Marketing, Commercial Excellence, Sales Leadership, or related business functions within Healthcare or MedTech.
Proven experience managing strategic product portfolios and driving sustainable business growth.
Experience operating within regulated healthcare or medical device environments.
Demonstrated success leading cross-functional initiatives involving Commercial, Medical Affairs, Clinical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, Market Access, and Global teams.
Strong experience in portfolio management, demand generation, value proposition development, pricing strategy, and commercial execution.
Track record of successful product launches and portfolio transformation initiatives.
Advanced analytical, financial, and strategic thinking capabilities.
Excellent communication, presentation, and executive influencing skills.
Fluent English, with the ability to operate effectively in global environments.
Preferred Qualifications
MBA or postgraduate degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Strategy, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
Experience in Surgical Devices, Wound Closure, Biosurgery, Stapling, Energy Platforms, Laparoscopy, Open Surgery, Minimally Invasive Surgery, or other advanced medical technologies.
Experience collaborating directly with Regional and Global Marketing or Product Management teams.
Strong understanding of health economics, market access, reimbursement, and value-based healthcare principles.
Experience leading clinical evidence generation initiatives, clinical studies, or outcomes research programs.
Familiarity with hospital procurement processes, healthcare systems, and payer dynamics.
Clinical background or extensive experience working directly with surgeons, operating rooms, and healthcare providers.
