The Role:

As a Strategic Key Accounts and Partnership Lead, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, vaccination uptake, and market access execution across vaccination centres and key healthcare accounts in Hong Kong.

You will serve as the primary commercial lead in Hong Kong, operating with a high degree of autonomy in a lean market environment.

You will lead key account management, tendering and contracting, while building and activating partnerships across the healthcare ecosystem.  This role combines commercial execution with targeted customer engagement, translating strategy into measurable business outcomes.

This is a critical role to strengthen Moderna’s presence in Hong Kong and build the foundation for future portfolio expansion.

Here’s What You’ll Do:

Commercial Ownership & Revenue Delivery:

Own and deliver commercial/sales targets across assigned accounts and channels

Drive vaccination coverage rates (VCR) and expand access points

Identify and unlock new business opportunities across public and private sectors

Develop and execute key account plans to maximize performance and growth

Contribute to forecasting, demand planning, and revenue tracking for the Hong Kong market.

Tendering, Contracting & Market Access Execution:

Lead and execute end-to-end tender processes, including:

Opportunity identification and qualification

Supplier listing and bid submissions

Negotiation and award follow-through

Manage contracting and pricing execution in line with internal governance frameworks, while providing input into local pricing and access strategies

Track tender timelines and ensure timely, competitive, and high-quality submissions

Partner cross-functionally to align on pricing, access strategy, supply, and medical inputs

Key Account Management & Stakeholder Engagement:

Build strong, trusted relationships with:

Government and public health institutions

Medical societies

Procurement bodies and vaccination centers

Healthcare professionals and key influencers

Develop and execute partnerships with primary care and specialist medical societies to drive HCP education, CME programs, and vaccination campaigns

Position Moderna as a trusted partner in vaccination, supporting public health and patient outcomes

Create and deliver opportunities to demonstrate the value of Moderna’s portfolio

Identify opportunities to expand partnerships and improve vaccination uptake

Market Insights & Key Account Strategy:

Generate actionable insights on:

Customer needs and decision drivers

Competitive landscape and market dynamics

Policy and healthcare system developments

Segment and prioritize accounts and partners based on business potential and strategic importance

Translate insights into clear account strategies and execution plans

Commercial Execution & Customer Engagement:

Develop and execute targeted customer engagement and pull-through initiatives across channels

Adapt and deploy channel and account-specific materials and communication approaches to HCP vaccinators

Drive targeted initiatives to increase awareness, demand, and vaccination rates

Ensure effective and impactful engagement across key customer touchpoints

Utilizes the full capacity, experience, and knowledge of a multi-functional team and organization to co-create innovative solutions for and with customers

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Planning:

Work closely with Medical, Market Access, Regulatory, Marketing, and Supply teams to deliver aligned execution

Ensure strong internal alignment on strategy, account priorities and execution plans

Contribute to forecasting, planning, and performance tracking

Support overall business strategy and target achievement

Provide input into regional strategy and shares best practices across markets

Here’s What You’ll Need (Basic Qualifications)

Bachelor’s Degree with10 years of experience in pharmaceuticals, vaccines, and healthcare

Proven experience in:

Key account management and sales delivery

Tendering, contracting, and pricing negotiations

Stakeholder engagement within Hong Kong healthcare system

Strong track record of delivering commercial outcomes

Solid understanding of public and private healthcare landscape in Hong Kong

Strong negotiation, influencing, and relationship-building skills

Ability to work independently in a lean and fast-paced environment

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

Effective collaborator with ability to influence without authority

Proficiency in English (verbal and/or written) required due to global collaboration needs

Experience in vaccines, infectious diseases, and private and public vaccination health programs

Established network within Hong Kong healthcare ecosystem, including key decision-makers and opinion leaders
