ABOUT THE ROLE

In this vital role you will be responsible for architecting, designing, and implementation of SAP S/4HANA Plan to Stock solutions ( Supply p lanning, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Quality , Material / Inventory Management and Batch management) across all the Amgen manufacturing and distribution sites. This role focuses on leveraging SAP technologies to streamline and enhance Plan to Stock processes, ensuring alignment with business needs and industry best practices. As an SAP Solution architect, you will work closely with operations IT a nd business stakeholders to gather requirements, design, and configure solutions, and provide post-implementation support. This position requires deep expertise in SAP MM, IM, PP and Q M modules with a solid understanding of Logistics and Distribution processes.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Participate in ERP implementation projects as part of the physical financial product team, including blueprinting, gap analysis, testing, go-live, and post-production support.
D esign, configuration, and optimization of Plan to Stock ( Plant setup, MRP, Direct Procurement, Sub-contracting, Manufacturing, Quality , I nventory Management and Batch management , Inter and Intra company STO ) process in SAP S/4 HANA
Good understanding of SAP Advanced Intercompany STO process
Ensure seamless integration between SAP S/4 modules MM, FI, PP, TM, ATTP, GTS, E AS , Ariba, and EWM) as well as non-SAP systems for planning , quality and manufacturing systems lik e Kinaxis, MES and LIMS.
Conduct architectural reviews and assessments to identify potential risks and recommend mitigation strategies
Oversee creation and maintenance of c ritical documentation such as functional designs, test cases, and user manuals. Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical industry standards and regulations.
Participate in ERP implementation projects, including blueprinting, gap analysis, testing, go-live, and post-production support.
Mentor other architects and team members to ens ure the effective execution of the projects and services
Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to deliver and sustain Amgen's S/4HANA ecosystem utilizing the Scaled Agile Framework ( SAFe )
Develop innovative solutions that drive speed to value via AI/ML and leading control practices
Basic Qualifications and Experience :
Master’s degree with 4 – 6 years of SAP implementation experience in SAP MM, PP - PI and QM modules
Bachelor’s degree with 6 - 8 years of SAP implementation experience in SAP MM, PP- PI and QM modules
Diploma with 10 - 12 years of SAP implementation experience in SAP MM, IM, and QM modules
Functional Skills:
Must-Have Skills:
Strong hands-on experience configuring and customizing SAP S/4 MM, IM , MRP , Sub-contracting, and STO processes.
Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA Int ra and Advanced Int er company stock transfers, sub- contract manufacturing process .
Ability to design and implement solutions based on business requirements , including debugging and root cause analysis .
Experience in creating detailed documentation, including functional specifications, test cases, and compliance reports .
Good-to-Have Skills:
Knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA Inbound logistics and w arehouse management process , Transportation management .
Experience with integrating SAP with Ariba supplier collaboration, IBP or Kinaxis supply and demand planning system and PLM system.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies for software delivery and process improvement.
Professional Certifications :
SAP Certified Application Associate in SAP S/4 Hana Material Management and Inventory Management
Agile Certified Practitioner ( preferred )
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
