What You Will Do
Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will serve as a Business Systems Analyst managing various HR applications in the ServiceNow configuration management database. You will partner with application leads and business owners from the Hire-to-Retire product teams responsible for end-to-end lifecycle, health, and operational accuracy of their assigned software.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with HR, Legal, Compliance, and IT teams for implementing new applications and decommissioning outgoing applications following Amgen’s CMDB protocols
Act as an IT App Ownership Delegate, fulfilling operational governance and platform stewardship responsibilities.
Serve as a ServiceNow Administrator, handling change requests (CRs), CAB participation, approvals, and closures.
Maintain accuracy of Configuration Items (CIs) and manage Knowledge Base (KB) documentation and SOPs.
Create and maintain documentation for configurations, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and change management activities.
Oversee system patching, minor upgrades, and application decommissioning to maintain compliance and operational performance.
Execute regular IS SOX activities, coordinating evidence gathering with Business Owners, IT Application Owners, and Platform Owners.
Support compliance validation through audit readiness activities and adherence to corporate controls.
Manage admin account provisioning and privileged access governance to maintain oversight of system-level permissions.
Conduct annual service account password rotations and confirm ownership validation.
Perform access provisioning and de-provisioning, along with privileged access reviews to uphold security compliance.
Maintain usage metrics and license management processes for cost efficiency and compliance tracking.
Coordinate system downtime notifications, ensuring effective communication with business stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications
Master’s / Bachelor’s degree and 8 to 12 years of Computer Science, IT or related field experience.
Minimum 5 years of experience supporting enterprise systems or application administration.
Experience managing Information systems, permissions, and configurations in a SaaS or On-prem environment.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with information systems and network technologies in the Human Resources domain
Experience with DevOps, software quality management and change management processes
Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, matrixed organization.
