Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Manual QA & Data Analyst who can ensure application quality while analyzing and validating data across enterprise platforms. This role bridges functional testing and data insights, ensuring both system reliability and business data accuracy.
The ideal candidate will have experience in manual testing, data validation, defect management, and data analysis/reporting, working closely with business and technical teams in Agile environments and possess experience working with salesforce.
Key Responsibilities
Manual QA / Testing
Perform Smoke, functional, integration, and regression testing across applications
Design and execute test cases and test scenarios based on requirements
Validate UI, APIs, and backend workflows for business-critical systems
Log, track, and manage defects using tools like JIRA
Participate in SIT, UAT, and release validation cycles
Ensure compliance with SDLC/STLC and Agile practices
Data Validation & Analysis on salesforce platform
Perform data validation between source systems and target platforms
Write and execute SQL queries to validate datasets on sql workbench
Analyze data trends, discrepancies, and anomalies
Support data reconciliation and integrity checks
Generate dashboards/reports for stakeholders
Collaborate with SMEs to derive business insights from data
Agile & Collaboration
Work closely with Business Analysts, Developers, and Product Owners
Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives)
Translate business requirements into test scenarios and validation rules
Communicate testing results, risks, and data findings clearly
Quality Assurance & Process Improvement
Ensure end-to-end validation of application and data accuracy
Identify gaps in requirements, test coverage, or data quality
Support root cause analysis and defect prevention strategies
Contribute to continuous improvement of QA and data validation processes
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field
5-9 years of experience in Manual Testing + Data Analysis
Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies
Experience in defect tracking tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, HPQC)
Technical Skills
QA Skills:
Test case design & execution
Functional / Regression testing
API validation (basic)
Defect lifecycle management
Data Skills:
SQL (mandatory)
Data validation & reconciliation
Reporting tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau – preferred)
Tools & Platforms (Preferred):
JIRA / Azure DevOps
SQL Server / Oracle / Databricks
API tools (Postman – basic validation)
Soft Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
Attention to detail (critical for QA + data accuracy)
Good communication with business & technical stakeholders
Ability to handle multiple priorities in Agile environments
Preferred Experience (Nice to Have)
Experience with data platforms (Databricks / Data Lake / ETL pipelines)
