Job Description:

Senior Team Lead, Source-to-Contract, AMERICAS

The Senior Team Lead, Source-to-Contract, will ensure that the Service Delivery Procurement Source-to-Contract organization delivers results in support of Global Services, OneProcurement and Johnson & Johnson business strategy and objectives. The role works directly with the business, category teams, and the broader function. Additionally, you contribute to and/or own the operational execution of prioritized category strategy implementations, sourcing and contracting cases, and other critical functional activities.

Key Responsibilities

·       Accountable for managing third-party supplier performance, monitoring delivery against contractual obligations, service expectations, and key performance indicators (KPIs), while driving accountability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.

·         Supervises & conducts the day-to-day operations of the Source-to-Contract function, including sourcing event management, price and other contract terms negotiation, contract drafting and execution, and stakeholder management activities. Delivers against defined Service Levels.

·         Partners with Category Procurement teams, Legal, Compliance, IT, Security, and other relevant functions to align sourcing and contracts with category strategy, data privacy, cybersecurity and regulatory needs.

·         Collaborate with multiple departments in the development and execution of strategies and plans that improve the organization’s profitability and competitive position, utilizing market intelligence, risk assessments, and total cost projections.

·         Drives continuous improvements in user experience, effectiveness, and efficiency in assigned areas of responsibility.

·         Support development and implementation of automation and AI (Artificial Intelligence) initiatives within assigned areas of responsibility; act as product owner for S2C tools and AI features; gather requirements, prioritize, test, and roll out enhancements.

·         Create Value by establishing and nurturing strong relationships with key business partners and leadership across regions in scope with a view to proactively understanding and constructively influence their needs and expectations, secure cross-functional alignment.

·         Change management: training, coaching, and upskilling teams on new digital tools and processes

·         Carries an operational workload, directly managing the most complex sourcing and contracting cases while ensuring quality, timely resolution, and appropriate stakeholder alignment.

·         Integrates Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives in day-to-day interactions with team.

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent University degree is required.

An MBA or further advanced degree is preferred.

Experience and Skills

Required:

·         4-6 years of Procurement, Finance, or other relevant business experience.

·         Collaboration, Communication & Influencing Skills: Should be regarded as a constructive player representing Source-to-Contract and overall procurement in various teams within the company and outside. Should have the requisite communication skills to communicate & influence objectives and then develop collaborative relationships both internally and externally to achieve them.

·         Learning Agility & Openness to Change.

Preferred:

Good understanding of Source-to-settle processes and operations.

Shared Services Industry experience.

Fluency in English (written and oral) is required. Fluency in one other language (written and oral) for the supported region(s) is preferred.

Other

Requires up to 5% domestic and international travel.

Work Location & Schedule

This position will be part of the AMERICAS Service Delivery Procurement organization and will primarily support the AMERICAS region. To ensure effective collaboration with stakeholders across AMERICAS, the role requires coverage of AMERICAS time zone working hours.
