Job Description Summary
As Senior Manager CCO Strategy, you’ll be operating at the very core of Sandoz business strategy, helping shape business-critical decisions on pipeline selection, portfolio management, strategic partnerships and BD. You will lead high-impact, high-complexity initiatives across various business areas, platforms and regions, building strategic scenarios, facilitating key decision-making and enhancing the effectiveness of the Chief Commercial Office.
This role will be part of the growing CCO Strategy team, acting as a key enabler and closely aligning with the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), CEO and Board of Directors (BoD).

Your Key Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Lead cross-functional projects, workstreams and strategic initiatives by: Developing structured approaches and implementing effective solutions to complex problems
Effectively managing cross-functional (senior) stakeholders across multiple areas and platforms
Determining and driving the agenda of key meetings, monitoring timelines, tracking milestones, and ensuring follow-ups to enable timely execution and successful project outcomes
Communicating effectively and clearly with all audiences to influences stakeholder towards recommended actions
Lead creation of high-impact documents that enable the business strategy and decision-making of the CCO, CEO, BoD, as well as targeting relevant external events by: Researching and developing high-quality, clear and actionable content
Extracting meaningful insights and key messages from complex/ partial data
Ensuring clarity of messages, adequate synthesis and effective presentation towards executives
Identify opportunities to drive operational excellence and efficacy in achieving the CCO strategic goals fostering your own entrepreneurship within Sandoz
Support on ad-hoc challenges and sprints to enable the CCO strategic objectives and accelerate operative business decisions
Key Performance Indicators will include but are not limited to: Correctness, completeness and meaningfulness of the analyses
Clarity, sharpness and efficacy of documents and presentations
Reliability, timeliness and accountability over project delivery and associated impacts
Key stakeholder’s satisfaction
What you’ll bring to the role:
Essential Requirements:
BA / BS required, business concentration ideal but not required; MBA or relevant graduate degree preferred
Strong experience (3-5 years) in Top Tier management consulting (McKinsey, BCG, Bain) with relevant project experience
Preferred experience (1-3 years) in life sciences, healthcare, or FMCG industry; experience in a global or international context highly preferred
Critical and strategic thinker with solutions-oriented mindset and excellent analytical skills (problem structuring and problem solving) allowing to handle complex/ partial information
Proven leadership and project management skills, including cross-functional projects with significant and visible business impact, able to operate successfully at all organizational levels and influence (senior) stakeholders towards recommended decisions/ actions
Excellent executive communication and presentation skills able to influence without authority and achieve project objectives in a multi-layered matrix organization
Agility in shifting between various projects and initiatives, comfort with high-paced environment and complex challenges, ability to re-prioritize quickly to keep focus on value-generating activities
Proven self-starter and independent thinker with high standards for excellence, innovative mindset, accountability, and compliance
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, etc.), including Co-pilot
Fluent in English, proficiency in an additional language is preferred

Compensation Structure & Criteria:
Sandoz compensation is determined by job level, qualifications, niche skills, experience, and location within company salary ranges. Fully proficient and highly effective employees can expect a starting salary around market median, with those new to the level or with less functional depth at the lower end of the range and those with sustained superior or niche skills towards the higher end of the range. Internal equity and external market data inform our range placement. Annual salary reviews consider performance outcomes, market alignment, and business needs.
Job location: Holzkirchen, Germany
Starting pay range: EUR 87.700 – 162.900
Variable compensation: 15% performance-based bonus
Additional benefits include: 30 vacation days per year (in full time), 1.200€ vacation payment (in full time), €40/month in capital-forming benefits (in full time), company pension, flex-hybrid working 50% per week in the office, access to our learning & development platforms Skillsoft & Learnlight
