Rare diseases is a high-growth therapy area with rapid innovation and significant unmet medical need. Over 7,000 rare diseases are known today – yet less than 1% of them have an approved treatment. As we begin to build our position as a Rare Disease leader, we seek for Key Account Sales to join our Commercial team in Hong Kong.

What you’ll do
As a Senior Key Account Associate/ Key Account Executive you’ll play a pivotal role for generating clinical demand for our brands in key accounts, pro-actively identifying business opportunities and recommending solutions to drive and develop business, focusing on our rare disease portfolios.
You will work very closely with the Franchise Head to deploy and adapt the AZ account management strategy to the Hong Kong market, including tactics and execution. You are expected to drive sales performance and ensure sales forecasts and assigned budgets meet or exceed therapeutic and territory expectations; and manage relationships with specialists, to make a positive impact on changing patients’ lives.
This role reports to the Franchise Head.
Your job responsibilities will be, but not limited to:
Maintain a high level of both therapeutic and product knowledge in order to promote the benefits of our products
Effectively communicate the scientific and clinical benefits of our products to top research and clinical practitioners
Build and implement account plans for targeted hospitals/institutions
Ensure our products are appropriately positioned within hospital systems and processes
Achieve sales goals for your territory and relevant surrounding area, ensuring the broad uptake of our products
Strong cross functional collaboration working with a wide variety of key stakeholders (internal and external)
Essential for the role
Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline, preferably in science
Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
Excellent Microsoft Office skill
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Highly self-motivated, meticulous, able to work under pressure
Desirable for the role
Prior industry and/or sales experience is desirable, especially in Neurology, Haematology, or Pediatric Haematology & Oncology
