Job Summary:
The Data Engineer - Databricks will be responsible for building and optimizing our data pipelines, data architectures, and data sets. You will work closely with the Stakeholder Success Teams to support their data needs and maximize the value of our data processing capabilities in alignment with GxP, GDPR, and industry regulations.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust data pipelines on Databricks.
Collaborate with domain specific Stakeholder Success Teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
Collaborate with data architects for the data modelling through bronze, silver, gold layer
Collaborate with source teams and other dependent teams to ensure smooth and successful integration.
Optimize and troubleshoot existing data pipelines for performance and reliability.
Ensure data quality and integrity across various data sources.
Implement data security and compliance best practices.
Monitor data pipeline performance and conduct necessary maintenance and updates.
Document data pipeline processes, technical specifications and data models.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in data engineering.
Strong background in the pharmaceutical industry and its related data
Proficiency with Databricks, pyspark, AWS and Python.
Strong SQL skills
Experience with big data technologies
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
