Senior Director, US Vaccines Contracting and Pricing

ROLE SUMMARY
The US Vaccines Contracting and Pricing Senior Director develops strategy and innovative models for contracting within the US for the full portfolio of Pfizer Vaccines. This role focuses on developing innovative strategies and frameworks for partnerships with retail, IDNs, PBGs, HCPs, VA, DoD, CDC, and other vaccinators in the USA to expand patient access to current and future Pfizer vaccines.
This role will collaborate closely with brand leads, New Product Launch teams, Customer engagement leads and HQ contracting roles to coordinate execution of contracting strategy
RESPONSIBILITIES
Build a strong US contracting plan that can help to build key relationships with customers while modeling our Values of Courage, Excellence, Equity and Joy
Develop strategy and innovative models for contracting in the US across multiple segments and brands.
Develop innovative strategies and frameworks for partnerships to expand patient access to Pfizer vaccines.
Develop contracting models for IDNs and GPOs in the US and innovation on Hybrid Govt/Private contracts in the US.
Create strategy for facilitating increased reach to priority channels
Collaborate closely with US brand leads, customer engagement leads and contracting roles and to coordinate execution of contracting strategies
Ensure deep understanding of drivers of successful engagement with retail channel, particularly in new technologies
Adhere to and model all Pfizer Values and Compliance Principles
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 12+ years of successful marketing/commercial experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
US market experience is highly preferred
Experience with vaccine innovation in contracting with retail, INDs, PBGs, GPOs, HCPs, etc. preferred
Demonstrated strategic marketing and analytical thinking and innovation skills
Prior launch experience highly desired
Experience in working successfully in a highly competitive environment strongly desired
Demonstrated ability to work within a cross-functional team through setting a common vision and purpose, influence, and persuasion
Strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to communicate a clear narrative to gain alignment with senior leadership
An absolute commitment to adherence to all applicable compliance rules and regulations
Demonstrated ability to effectively work on multiple tasks with a strong sense of urgency and enthusiasm while prioritizing and meeting team goals
Demonstrated ability to effectively lead others through times of change
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $214,900.00 to $358,100.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 22.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
