Accountabilities:
Issue Resolution and Continuous Improvement: Triage, analyze and resolve SAP FI/CO issues reported by business users; identify root causes and deliver fixes that improve stability, control and user experience.
Change and Enhancement Delivery: Gather requirements, design and configure solutions, manage testing and deploy enhancements that meet business needs and regulatory standards.
Integration Ownership: Lead and optimize p2p to fi and fi to Sotc integrations; ensure interfaces, Idocs and Z developments deliver reliable, reconciled, end-to-end financial data flows.
Collaborator Engagement: Partner with finance, procurement and operational teams to capture requirements, set expectations and provide timely progress updates and user guidance.
Quality and Documentation: Produce clear functional specifications, test plans and user documentation; support knowledge transfer and adoption.
Delivery Rigor: Complete tasks assigned by the team lead and project coordinator on time; manage risks, dependencies and change/release cycles with rigor.
Data and Controls: Safeguard data integrity across FI/CO processes; support period-end close, reconciliations and audit/controls readiness.
Future-Ready Finance: Contribute to automation, analytics and cloud-enabled improvements that elevate performance and reduce manual effort over time.
Essential Skills/Experience:
9-11 years of experience and functional knowledge in their domain and good technical knowledge in the FI and CO modules.
Work experience in core modules of FI&CO, p2p to fi & fi to Sotc integrations, Interfaces, wbs, Idocs, z developments etc.
Desirable Skills/Experience:
Experience working as a Functional Consultant resolving SAP issues and delivering change/enhancements for business users.
Hands-on exposure to SAP S/4HANA Finance and/or Central Finance migration or greenfield initiatives.
Strong knowledge of integration patterns across procurement, order-to-cash, project systems and reporting, including interface monitoring and error handling.
Comfort with Agile ways of working, including backlog management, user stories and iterative delivery.
Proficiency with SAP Solution Manager/ChaRM, testing tools and structured documentation practices.
Ability to lead requirements workshops, translate process needs into functional designs and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical partners.
Domain understanding of accounting and controlling processes (e.g., period-end close, IFRS considerations, product costing, profitability analysis) in a global environment.
Experience in regulated or life sciences settings, with attention to controls, auditability and data quality.
